Conspiracy Love

The rough for this cartoon was in the batch I posted Friday and out of the 18 ideas in the post, this is the one readers kinda went ape over. It got more reactions, shares, and comments on Facebook than my finished cartoons have been receiving lately, and a lot of readers asked me to make a completed cartoon of it.

I’ve done this before but I mostly try to avoid letting readers see the rough of a cartoon before the finished version is posted. I didn’t plan to finish this and riffing ideas with my readers isn’t something I do. But the demand was high so I decided, what the hell. I changed it up a little, used some creative license (these two don’t like each other and probably wouldn’t want to date a vaxxer), and had some fun with it. I do like drawing bar scenes.

I don’t know if any of my syndication clients will use this, so maybe it can be a Super Bowl special today.

For what it’s worth, I’m picking the Chiefs over the Niners today, not because of anything to do with Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, or GOP hatred but just because I don’t see how San Francisco can beat Patrick Mahomes.
