Monday, August 14, 2023: Well, kids… here we are again. This time I’m headed to Atlanta. It’s 12:41 A.M. and I just booked my flight, which is tomorrow afternoon, the train to Washington to catch my flight, and my hotel. I’ll be landing in Baltimore when I return Saturday. I haven’t booked a train or hotel for that time but I’ll figure it out before then. I kinda live and travel on the seat of my pants anyway.
I want to thank you for helping me make this coverage possible. Even if you’ve only supported these trips once before, I know I’ve asked a lot from you. Thank you for doing this. You rock. More stuff will come to this page.
Update, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 8:17 AM: I’ve canceled my flight to Atlanta (United). I’m trying to cancel my flight back from Atlanta (Spirit) but Expedia says it’s still “processing” and I only have 24 hours to do so. I’ve canceled my train to the airport. I’m trying to change my hotel dates but booking.com won’t seem to let me and I’ve called the hotel twice and they’ve hung up on me both times. If I simply cancel the hotel, it will cost me $144.00. I don’t want to eat that. I’ll call again after 9 PM.
This is Fani Willis’ fault. I’m pretty sure she didn’t mention a date during her press conference last night when she said that Trump had until Friday to turn himself in. Right after I booked, I heard it was NEXT Friday. Fuckingshit, man. Can I send a bill to Fani Willis?
Update, 9:52 AM: Booking got the hotel to cancel my reservation without charging me. Yay! Now I just gotta get Spirit to cancel my flight and issue me a refund.
Update. August 20, 2023: I’m booked for Atlanta…again. I’ll be flying out of Baltimore Wednesday morning at 6:15 a.m Since it’s so early, I’ll be taking a train to a hotel near the airport on Tuesday. I’ll fly back to Baltimore on Saturday but it’ll be early enough that I can take a train home that day as well.

Update, 11:44 PM, August 22, 2023: I’m in Baltimore and in a hotel with shitty WiFi. Isn’t that awesome? I apologize for there not being any images on this page yet, but the big day is Thursday. I might attend a Trump rally Thursday morning before Tiny turns himself in. Am I crazy? Like Trump, I’m doing it for you, people. But, yes. I am crazy.

Michael the “Black Man.” You see him behind Trump at every rally and I’ve seen him at each Trump arrest. He was giving me the thumbs-up because I shouted his name and again, thinking I was a Trumper. He hasn’t changed his shirt in three years.
I saw this guy all over the TV news later that evening.
I’ve seen Nadine at each Trump arrest and she let me interview her today. Scroll down for it.

I went to the Georgia Aquarium before going to the Trump arrest.
I trolled Marjorie Taylor Greene and I don’t feel bad about it. Later, an article about the event mentioned that some guy shouted “Jewish Space Lasers” at her. Scoundrel.
I don’t just interview the people I agree with. I interview fucknuts too. And trust me, this guy was nutty.

I’m staying in Atlanta until tomorrow morning so I don’t have to travel while writing cartoons for CNN. I may have dinner with Deb and Wing tonight if CNN lets me go early enough.

Update, August 26, 8:42 P.M.: I’m home. Thank you to everyone who supported this trip. I’ll make this page public this Monday, maybe. I just remembered I have to blog last week’s roughs.
