Trust-Fund Baby Testimony

The biggest headache for Donald Trump’s lawyers is that he never cooperates with the game plan. The dotard is constantly posting confessions on social media without realizing, that is when he’s not publicly intimidating witnesses and court staff. On top of that, he doesn’t pay them or even worse, he makes them co-defendants.

But the lawyers representing Trump shouldn’t have any problems with the douche twins cooperating. Obviously, the plan for both of them, Donald Jr and Eric, is to play dumb. Surely, the lawyers were impressed.

Jr and Eric testified yesterday in the New York civil trial of the Trump Organization overvaluing its assets. Both played dumb and blamed other people. Both blamed accountants.

During Thursday’s testimony, the state Attorney General’s team homed in on Eric and Jr’s role in their dad’s annual financial statements, which assigned values to his key properties. Jr. signed letters each year attesting to their accuracy, and Leticia James, the attorney general, has argued that Eric influenced some of the values contained in them.

When asked if the Trump Organization’s biggest lender, Deutsche Bank, would rely on the accuracy of the financial statements, Jr said the bankers “do their own diligence.” His argument is that the company that made loans to them is at fault if they trusted the Trumps’ assessment of their property values. Suckers.

He does kind of have a point in that anyone who has ever trusted a Trump should have known better. I say it all the time about the idiots who send Trump money for his legal fees that he won’t pay. But that also doesn’t make the Trumps innocent.

Eric joined his brother in blaming other people. He said he’s not responsible for the appraisals stating, “I’m an operator. I’m a construction guy. I build projects. I don’t focus on appraisals.” Yet, attorneys for the state showed several emails in which Eric had corresponded with an appraiser about appraisals. It was also shown that Eric had ignored an independent appraisal when advising an employee on how much the family’s Westchester golf resort was worth. It seems that there have been times while committing fraud that Eric was “focused” on appraisals.

At one point, Trump Jr told a courtroom sketch artist to “make me look sexy.”

Eric has a reputation for being the dumb one of the two, but they’re both morons. Eric argues he’s not responsible for the appraisals and when it’s shown that he is, his defense is he doesn’t pay attention. Jr argues he’s not responsible for statements he signs, which is an argument that his word isn’t worth shit.

I’m shocked Sniffy Jr hasn’t blamed Hunter Biden yet as that’s been the target of his fixation for the past few years. I think Jr knows he’s a loser but if he can howl about Hunter loud enough, then maybe people won’t notice how much of a failure he is.

Donald Trump is scheduled to testify Monday and Ivanka may end up on the stand next week as well. Her argument against testifying is that she’s moved to Florida. Maybe she’s the dumb one.

The Trumps are guilty of defrauding investors and insurers. Part of their defense is that it’s a victimless crime, but that’s not true. Money loaned to Trump on his fraudulent assessments was money not available to other people. Lower interest rates given to Trump defrauded the bank, as the bank could have made more money on those loans. Overvauling the property can also be insurance fraud.

It’s already been decided that Trump is guilty. What the trial is about now is how much the Trump Organization should be fined, and if the assets should be divided and sold off to pay restitution. Another decision coming by the judge will be whether or not the Trump crime family will be allowed to continue doing business in New York.

Soon, the Trump Organization may go the way of the Dodo, the Trump Foundation, and Trump University.
