First off, let me give myself a tiny pat on the back for not drawing a cartoon of Santa giving anyone coal this year. I’ve seen about 35 of those cartoons and each one sucked. Sorry, colleagues. And speaking of my colleagues, the right-wing ones in particular, they have a lot of hate for renewable energy.
Right-wing cartoonists are constantly drawing against renewable energy, and it’s not just the wackadoodle fucknut in Detroit. They draw cartoons against renewable energy as if they have a personal grudge against it like an EV car did run over their grandmother…they’re sweet sweet MAGA grandma who’s not afraid to say “Merry Christmas” and loves Trump for keeping the illegals from mugging her for the Werthers in her handbag.
One stupid concept I’ve seen repeated is Santa using solar power to run his sleigh and it not working out for him. The argument here is that we shouldn’t replace gas-powered automobiles with renewable energy. But if Santa is using solar to power his sleigh, he’s not replacing gas. He’s replacing reindeer. Santa is still in the horse-and-buggy era, or the reindeer-and-buddy era. And maybe those reindeer are flying because they legalized weed at the North Pole. Why do you think those elves are always so happy? It’s either because they’re high or they’re just so giddy they don’t have to live in a tree making cookies. Who knows?
Another thing these goons don’t understand is that renewable energy is RENEWABLE. Why do they hate it so much? I mean, I understand why oil companies hate it and I get why think tanks like the Heartland Institute, which is funded by oil companies, hate it. But I don’t get why right-wing cartoonists hate renewable energy so much because they’re not being subsidized by Exxon and Mobil, right? We are going to run out of oil and coal. This is not a scientific theory. It’s a fact. Someday, that shit will be gone. But we’ll still have wind and solar.
Right-wingers don’t care that fossil fuels will be gone someday because they won’t be here when that happens. This is the height of selfishness and thoughtlessness. Oil companies and right-wing think tanks funded by them will be extinct, just like the dinosaurs.
Maybe instead of using renewable energy, right-wing fucknuts will resort to using reindeer. Who wants to break it to them that they don’t actually fly?
By the way, why doesn’t anyone ever vote for this song as Best Christmas Song Ever? I’d much rather hear it than that Mariah Carey shit. Also, I’m still surviving Whamageddon as I haven’t heard that one so far this season.

Just a little gearhead anecdote for ya. A couple of years back, a bunch of “Hard Working Americans©,” in their Eff-wunfiddies, blocked a bunch of charging stations so the “Libtards” in their Teslas couldn’t get their cars charged. The Tesla drivers just pushed ’em outta the way. See, the average Tesla has about 10X the torque of an Eff-wunfiddie. Anybody who thinks gas is better than electric should go title for title off a light against a Tesla. You’ll walk home a believer every time.

I think my favorite xmas song is “Snoopy’s Christmas vs. The Red Baron” by The Royal Guardsmen. Second favorite is “The Little Drummer Boy” sung by David Bowie / Bing Crosby (even though the story behind isn’t that great)

I like the Jethro Tull Christmas Album, which has jazzed instrumental versions of some classic Xmas songs as well as some that are more Pagan in nature. I also like the album The Winter’s Night, which is all solstice and no Xtianity.
