Most of these were drawn last Friday, April 21…but not the first one.

I drew this last Sunday and this was the original way it was going to go. But then I thought, let’s make it more relevant than just an inside joke to my most loyal readers (you)…even though I know they (you) would LOVE this. So, I put DeSantis in the second panel. However, Pizza Rat still made the cut because I can’t draw a cartoon about pizza without including Pizza Rat. Readers scream at me enough when he’s not non-pizza cartoons. Also, Pizza Rat is more of an observer and really shouldn’t be the focus of a cartoon. He shall remain an Easter Egg.
I really wanted to post this cartoon on social media last Sunday when I drew it, but I knew it’d get in the way of the official version, so I was patient. Good things come to those who wait.

My assignment for last week’s CNN Opinion newsletter was to do something about all the recent shootings at wrong doors, wrong driveways, and wrong cars. It was a good topic. I thought this one was OK but not THE idea to go with.

This was OK. I like the porch.

This is the cartoon we went with.

I kinda liked this one.

I really liked this one.

This one was my favorite. I didn’t want to scoop the newsletter, so I waited to draw it on Monday, but then Tucker got fired…and then Don Lemon got fired, and then Biden announced his reelection, and then Trump’s rape trial started and Disney sued DeSantis, and then Kevin McCarthy passed a bogus debt-limit increase, but after a week, I finally got to draw it, which was today.
Which of these are your favorites?

All of these cartoons, show the “dilemmas” of gun control in the U.S. all right, but, unfortunately, until, some of the families, relatives of the members of the Republican Party get gunned down, fat chance that a gun control bill will get passed into, law, and, besides, doesn’t the NRA have the members of the Congress, in their, pockets already???

Hell, you don’t need to shoot their relatives, you can shoot the members themselves and they still won’t do anything about guns. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
“Critically wounded at a Congressional baseball practice on June 14, 2017, Scalise was saved by a heroic response from U.S. Capitol Police special agents and Alexandria Police officers. Scalise fought for his life and returned to Congress, inspiring the nation with his resilience and optimism. Throughout his recovery, he was moved by the outpouring of prayers and support he and his family received from the American people.”
