I started to draw this Thursday night and then Dallas happened. I thought it might be the wrong time to pick on the police the day after that attack. I still liked the idea and decided to finish it, even if none of my clients publishes the cartoon.
What’s happening in this nation against the African-American population can’t be ignored because of what happened in Dallas. Jon Stewart once made a point: you can respect law enforcement while still being disturbed by police brutality and discrimination.
Did you like this cartoon? Want to help a cartoonist make a living? Look to the right of this page and make a donation through Paypal. I need to buy pens, paper, sandwiches, and dog food. The starving cartoonist and his Beagle appreciates it. If you’ve donated in the past, THANK YOU!!!

Check this out (quote):
Black and Hispanic police officers are more likely to fire a gun at blacks than white officers. This is according to a Department of Justice report in 2015 about the Philadelphia Police Department, and is further confirmed that by a study conducted University of Pennsylvania criminologist Gary Ridgeway in 2015 that determined black cops were 3.3 times more likely to fire a gun than other cops at a crime scene.
