Normally, this would have been a pretty easy week for me as I only drew out seven roughs for CNN, sent them in a couple of packages I think, and they selected the second one I drew. What made it difficult is that I had to draw a lot of detail (mostly grass) while suffering from some sort of food virus. It was a pretty mild case compared to the last one I had three years ago, but still bad enough that I wanted to call a good friend and ask them to come over and kill me.

I mostly spent the entire weekend holed up in my apartment. I did go outside to take out the garbage at one point.

But hey, I like this cartoon.
