And the Mango Menace flexes again. If this election doesn’t demonstrate the immorality of the MAGAts I can think of no better example. John Cornyn voted with the Tangerine Tyrant more than 90% of the time. He was a good Republican soldier, blithely and blindly following Agent Orange, his guy. And when the time came, he got tossed, being wrung out and found threadbare, for Ken Paxton, the guy who used to win the annual award for most corrupt politician. Not just in Texas. Second to Spiro Agnew. And Trump understands only transcactional relationships and understands grifting and its motivations. He understand marital infidelity (but doesn’t ask why Paxton’s wife divorced him.) Not only does Donald enjoy Ken’s venality, he knows he’s affordable.
If this were a normal year I would not support Talarico. I don’t trust religion in government officials. But this year we must. Vote early and vote often!
