Delayed By Sheeple

One of the many lovely traits of MAGAts is that they project. They accuse Democrats of lying while pushing debunked conspiracy theories and backing a guy who told over 30,000 lies in a span of four years. They accuse their political opponents of treason when they’re the ones who engaged in an insurrection. They claim Democrats want to defund the police while supporting white nationalist terrorists who attacked police officers. And they like to call liberals “sheeple” while they’re bathing in the cult of Trump.

The Trump sheep and Kool-Aid drinkers support Trump in delaying his many trials.

Trump has successfully delayed all four of his criminal trials in New York City, Florida, Georgia, and Washington, DC. He tried to delay his civil trial over raping E. Jean Carroll. He’s trying to delay posting a bond for his civil fraud trial. And now, he’s trying to delay other civil lawsuits over January 6.

A half dozen lawsuits were filed against Trump by people who were at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, accusing him of inciting the mob that stormed the building. These cases were filed by members of Congress and Capitol Police officers. These lawsuits are being held in a federal court in Washington, D.C.

Other than arguing he has immunity, Trump’s lawyers say these trials should be delayed because it will give away his strategy for defending himself against related criminal charges brought against him by Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Unfortunately for the plaintiffs in these civil trials, Trump could be broke by the time they get to trial because he’s probably not going to be able to delay his $464 million bond in New York.
