Horse Face Hawley

It’s ironic that Missouri Senator Josh Hawley is a Republican when his mug looks like the face of a burrow. And it’s hypocritical that Josh Hawley demands someone stand up and apologize while he’s never repented for his actions that contributed to Donald Trump’s white nationalist insurrection and attempts to overturn a fair democratic election.

It’s also hypocritical for Hawley and other Republicans to scream at CEOs of social media companies for creating toxic environments that contribute to online bullying and teen suicide while ignoring that X, Elon Musk’s platform formerly known as Twitter, is an environment friendly to liars, conspiracy theorists, Nazis, and other assorted hate groups. Since Elon purchased Twitter and restored thousands of accounts for members of hate groups, including Donald Trump, it’s been a free-for-all all for haters and liars that damage this nation. Even the owner of Twitter openly supports lies, conspiracy theories, and Nazis. When is Josh Hawley going to subpoena Elon to appear before Congress and demand that he stand up and apologize for giving a home to hate groups and for his own antisemitism?

I don’t have any love for Mark Zuckerberg and I’m not trying to defend him. I agree that social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and others have neglected responsibility for the sake of profits. My issue with these platforms creating a hostile environment that welcomes bullies and scammers is just one on a long list of complaints I have with social media.

Yesterday during a Senate hearing, Hawley pressured Zuck, the CEO of Meta (which owns Facebook, Instagram, and Threads) to stand up and apologize to families of victims of child bullying and sexual exploitation seated behind him. Feeling this pressure in front of hundreds in person and perhaps millions on television, Zuck did just that.

Zuckerberg faced the people behind him and said, “No one should have to go through the things that your families have suffered. This is why we’ve invested so much and are going to continue doing industry-leading efforts to make sure that no one has to go through the types of things your families had to suffer.”

That’s not really an apology. That’s like one of those Republican apologies. There is no admittance of guilt in that “apology.” A “my bad” would have been more of an apology than the shit that came out of Zuckerberg’s mouth. I’m shocked Zuck didn’t end it with, “…and a great way to avoid being exploited on our platform is to purchase Meta verification for just $14.99 a month.”

Zuckerberg sucks. He’s the suckiest suck who’s ever sucked a fucking suck in the history of sucks. He’s the worst…except for sucky fuckers like Josh Hawley.

After working to humiliate Zuckerberg, did Hawley ask X CEO, Linda Yaccarino, to stand up and apologize to victims? Of course not.

Josh Hawley aided and abetted the Trump insurrection on January 6, 2021. He helped spread lies that the election was stolen. Before the attack, he gave the white nationalist Trump terrorists a power salute. After the attack, he voted to support the objections to the electoral votes of Arizona and Pennsylvania.

The Kansas City Star said the image of him raising his fist “will haunt Josh Hawley.” Tony Messenger, a columnist for The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, said the image should be known as “Hawley: The Face of Sedition.”

Lindsey Graham said the CEOs of social media have “blood on their hands,” which is the same thing the KC Star editorial page said of Hawley for supporting the “coup attempt.” They also said that “no one other than President Donald Trump himself is more responsible” than Hawley, “who put out a fundraising appeal while the siege was underway.” The horseface motherfucker put out a fundraising appeal during the attack which he must have done after running for his life from it.

The Post-Dispatch editorial page called for him to resign and wrote, “Hawley’s tardy, cover-his-ass condemnation of the violence ranks at the top of his substantial list of phony, smarmy, and politically expedient declarations” and “Trumpism must die before it morphs into Hitlerism. Defenders like Hawley deserve to be cast into political purgatory for having promoted it.”

John Danforth, a retired senator from Missouri, George W. Bush’s Attorney General, and Hawley’s mentor, who’s never been known as a liberal wallflower, said that supporting Hawley is the “worst mistake I ever made in my life” and that Hawley was “directly responsible” for the riot. This guy says supporting Hawley is the “worst mistake of his life,” and he supported waterboarding.

Conservative columnist George Will wrote that Hawley and Ted Cruz, who others have said are members of the Sedition Caucus, “will each wear the scarlet S of a seditionist.”

After the attack, Hawley voted against establishing a commission to investigate the insurrection. He also voted against a resolution honoring the Capitol Police who protected his skinny ass as he was fleeing the riot he helped create.

After bipartisan calls for him to apologize for his part in a coup attempt and a violent attack by racist Trump terrorists trying to overturn a democratically-held election, Hawley said he “will never apologize for giving voice to the millions of Missourians and Americans who have concerns about the integrity of our elections.” How much “integrity” does a person have after shitting and pissing on the floors of the United States Capitol?

Over 170 officers of the Capitol Police were injured by the terrorist attack Hawley inspired. One of the terrorists was killed because of the attack Hawley helped create. Five Capitol Police officers died due to the attack Hawley championed.

Mark Zuckerberg and other CEOs of social media should apologize, but not because a piece of treasonous crap like Josh Hawley demands them to because he needs a photo-op to replace the ones of his raised fist to white nationalist MAGA terrorists and fleeing for his life.

Josh Hawley defiantly states he will never apologize to the people hurt that day. He’ll never apologize to the families of the ones who died. He’ll never apologize to his constituents, his colleagues, or to his country. He’ll never apologize for betraying the Constitution he swore to protect or this democracy. He’ll never apologize for supporting white nationalist terrorists trying to install an unelected fascist Oompa-Loompa dictator.

And I’ll never apologize for giving him a horseface.

  1. Did Hawley accept funds from Meta and any of the other companies? Surely he’ll give that $ back since he wouldn’t want to profit from their blood money …

  2. Hawley is just another typical Republican — bitching at anyone else who is doing what he does every day of the week. There are two standards st play — one for Republicans to do whatever they damn well please — while holding to account any non-Republican who does thecsame thing.
It is gking to catch up with them one day. Their pants are going to be around their ankles when the TV cameras catch them, and they won’t have a leg to stand on!

      1. Except I don’t accept Karma as a viable force in the universe. Shit happens, and if we try we can make anything look like it works. The universe is a very wide-ranging proposition.
But we are each able to believe what we want. That’s what makes life fun.

  3. A horse face and an even bigger horse’s ass. God, Hawley is a disgusting man! Then there was Tom Cotton who couldn’t get it through his thick head that not all Asians are Chinese communists when he was grilling the guy from Singapore. Those Republicans are a really embarrassing and stupid bunch.
