Putin has a new puppet and his name is Elon Musk.
The Russian president has been putting together a very disgusting friends list lately which includes Donald Trump, Xi Jinping, Kim Jong Un, Ted Rally, Elon Musk, and Yevgeny Prighozin… No, scratch that last one.
Starlink is a satellite internet service that’s operated by SpaceX, which is owned by Elon Musk. It serves over 60 countries including Ukraine AND Russia. SpaceX also has contracts with the U.S. government. A new book about Elon discloses that in 2022, Elon secretly ordered the disconnection of Starlink communications off the coast of Crimea to disrupt Ukraine’s attack on the Russian navy in Sevastopol.
Elon claims he did this because he was afraid if the attack succeeded, then Russia would have retaliated with nuclear weapons although, they haven’t done that in response to other attacks by Ukraine in the war that Putin started.
Putin said of Elon recently, “As for Elon Musk’s private business… He is definitely an outstanding person, this must be recognized… I think this is recognized all over the world. He is an active and talented businessman. He is doing a lot of things, in particular with the support of the American state.” This is called ass-kissing to get what you want. It works on people who are extremely insecure, like Elon and Donald Trump. Kim Jong Un will probably get a bunch of it today.
SpaceX has recently given the Pentagon an ultimatum: if it doesn’t assume the cost of providing service in Ukraine, which the company calculated at some four hundred million dollars annually, it would cut off access.
When Russia illegally invaded Ukraine, Elon was supportive of Ukraine. Then, he turned and started favoring Russia. That would be like changing your loyalty from the Giants to the Cowboys after Dallas’ 40-0 win on Sunday night. He initially donated satellite services to Ukraine but is now balking at the cost. One of his employees told the Pentagon, “We are not in a position to further donate terminals to Ukraine, or fund the existing terminals for an indefinite period of time.”
At a recent conference in Aspen, Musk said, “We should be negotiating. Putin wants peace—we should be negotiating peace with Putin.” Putin does not want peace. Putin started this war, again, illegally. He started it over bullshit. Next thing you know, Musk will say something stupid like, “This war wouldn’t have happened if Trump was still president.”
Musk tweeted a proposal for his own peace plan, which called for new referendums to redraw the borders of Ukraine and give Russia full control of Crimea, a section of Ukraine that Russia stole in 2014. He later tweeted support of an outcome favoring Russia and attached maps highlighting eastern Ukrainian territories which he argued, “prefer Russia.” He later posted a poll of the plan with about 60 percent of his followers rejecting it.
The New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow reported: Musk’s sympathies appeared to be manifesting on the battlefield. One day, Ukrainian forces advancing into contested areas in the south found themselves suddenly unable to communicate. “We were very close to the front line,” Mykola, the signal-corps soldier, told me. “We crossed this border and the Starlink stopped working.” The consequences were immediate. “Communications became dead, units were isolated. When you’re on offense, especially for commanders, you need a constant stream of information from battalions. Commanders had to drive to the battlefield to be in radio range, risking themselves,” Mykola said. “It was chaos.” Ukrainian expats who had raised funds for the Starlink units began receiving frantic calls. The tech executive recalls a Ukrainian military official telling him, “We need Elon now.” “How now?” he replied. “Like fucking now,” the official said. “People are dying.” Another Ukrainian involved told me that he was “awoken by a dozen calls saying they’d lost connectivity and had to retreat.” The Financial Times reported that outages affected units in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk. American and Ukrainian officials told me they believed that SpaceX had cut the connectivity via geofencing, cordoning off areas of access.
Musk has claimed he hasn’t spoken with Putin and then boasted, “Well, I had this great conversation with Putin.”
A U.S. Pentagon official said he believes Musk is afraid that by providing Starlink to Ukraine, Putin will see it as enabling Ukraine’s effort to defend itself from Russia. If what Putin thinks is a concern for Elon, combined with a Neville Chamberlain-like appeal for a pro-Russia peace plan and adopting Putin’s talking points, then he’s definitely favoring Russia over Ukraine.
Elon is being accused of being a traitor to the United States by helping Russia with its illegal invasion of Ukraine. Elon, like Trump, is becoming a national security risk.
Elon is preventing Ukraine from attacking military targets and ignoring that Russia has attacked civilian targets, like hospitals, apartments, elementary schools, daycare centers, playgrounds, etc, etc. Russia is not the good guy in this war. Elon has expressed no concern over Putin murdering children. Intead, he’s proposed that Putin be rewarded.
Elon, who is also extremely antisemitic, would give Czechoslovakia to Hitler.
The richest man in the world is also the biggest asshole in the world. Let’s deport him and every Russian sympathizer in this nation to Moscow. Maybe there, Donald Trump can build a tower for all of them to live in together.
