Re-Indicted

Donald Trump received this third indictment yesterday and you know what that means. I’m on the road again.

I’m writing this on a train headed north to Washington, D.C. Let’s hope Amtrak doesn’t hit any cars or trees this time like it did going to and from Miami when I was traveling to cover Trump’s SECOND indictment.

I traveled to New York City for Trump’s first indictment. Then I traveled to Miami for his second. Now, I’ll cover his third and see what kind of crowd this one attracts. It’s short notice but his supporters have probably been prepared for the indictments to come down at any time. I expect a heavy MAGAt turnout.

The crowd in NYC was evenly divided and the police did a great job of controlling the scene. The crowd at the federal courthouse in Miami was heavier with MAGAts than with the resistance. I don’t know what to expect in Washington as this is short notice, like NYC, it’s a very liberal city, but…a big but here…it’s where the white nationalist insurrection attempt occured.

No matter what happens, I’m going to be in the middle of it. Wish me luck and safety as I dive into this tomorrow. And before the month is over, I’m sure I’ll be in Atlanta for a fourth indictment.

And if you want to support this coverage of history being made, you can through PayPal, Venmo, or through snail mail. Hotels and food in Washington are expensive and every amount of support is greatly appreciated. There’s also a secret password-encrypted page for those who do support.

See you in Washington.

  1. I tried to make a donation and I was not able to change the donation amount from $0 to the amount I wanted to donate. Is this me or your software?

    1. I was able to make a donation. Where to put the amount isn’t obvious, you just put the cursor by the zero and put in your amount.
Have a good time Clay. Wish I could give more.

  2. Sir you need some trump-like, “patriotic” swag to fit into the mix. Then you can say things like BIDEN’S FAULT and his followers will spew all sorts of crazy shit…. worth the cost of the train ticket… BE SAFE OUT THERE.

  3. For starters, the secret password encrypted page is unfair to those seniors or others living on fixed incomes in this time of high food costs. We don’t have enough for us. But still we are loyal fans, and learning there are secret places we cannot go to is like a huge punch to the gut!
But Good Luck anywsys, and we are looking forward to your up-to-the-minute Trump Toon reporting (allowing for creative time, of course).
Stay safe, and don’t aggravate any MAGAts out looking for someone to take their frustrations out on — at least, not too much!

    1. I give away more free content than any other cartoonist in the world. It’s unfair that I can’t make a better living at this, yet I continue to do it. The secret page is to help fund this trip. While you enjoy my work, remember that I’m trying to survive and trips do cost money. Sheesh.
The secret page will be made public when this trip is over.

  4. To Deb Milbrath:
If that comment was directed to me, as it appears to do:: Been there. Done that. I was homeless back in the days when nobody even saw us. I slept under bridges, in stairwells, on beaches in winter, all kinds of cozy places. I was able to pull myelf out, with some help, which is why any extra money I do get goes to the homeless, directly into their hands, no strings attached. Since Covid, there hasn’t been any extra money. I’m not complaining, just stating facts. I know what it is like to be broke, really broke, to eat out of garbage cans sa McDonalds when they first opened up and people threw good food out all the time while spitting at me cuz I didn’t fit their sensibilities.
Life can take many turns. I’ve experienced many of them.
