This is what I came here for, kids. This is what you’ve been waiting for. Finally, here it is.
I’m currently blogging this from a White Castle on the corner of 8th and 37th. I’ve been asked a lot of questions on social media, and too many of the same questions for me to go through and answer. No, I did not see Marjorie Taylor Greene. I think she was run off right before I got there. I read she was only present for about five minutes which says she wanted the headline but didn’t want to put in the work or time. But I hope this blog answers your questions.
Yesterday, I set out to do something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, visit each of the five boroughs. I did it, going from Manhattan to Staten Island, back to Manhattan then to Brooklyn, and finally to Queens. Coming back to Manhattan from Queens, I got off the train at the closest stop to Trump Tower. This was a few hours after he had arrived, but I got pics.
The media was there.

So were the cops.

Trump even showed up and we hit it off.

After drawing today’s cartoon, I headed to the courthouse to check out the crowds that were there for Trump’s arraignment. The pro-Trump and anti-Trump groups were separated by cops and fences, but you could easily go from one side to the other, and that’s what I did. First, I joined the anti-Trumpers. They were nice.

And then I ventured over to the Trumper side.

The guy on the right handing out literature is the only person I had a conversation with on the MAGA side because he kept insisting I take his “literature” after I said I didn’t want it. I finally had to say I don’t support maniacs so please kindly fuck off. But most people over there were very nice. There were a few anti-Trumpers mingling in but they were tolerated.

Everyone was happy to pose for me on the Trump side.

I think there were more New Yorkers on the anti-Trump side, and most of the Trumpers were from out of town.

I took this guy’s picture so you can understand the type of lunatics on the MAGA side.

I don’t know what message that guy was trying to send.

I did not see Marjorie Taylor Greene but I did see…

…the Naked Cowboy. I wonder if he saw the cartoon I drew of him a year or so ago.

Yes, you can hold your iPhone over the Naked Cowboy’s guitar and see an ad. It’s not political.
I got a notification during all this picture taking that Trump was on his way to the courthouse. Right after I took the Naked Cowboy’s photo, I got another saying he had turned himself in. I think he snuck in through a tunnel. About ten seconds after that notification, I heard cheering from the anti-Trump side.
And then I left to meet my editor at CNN.
Any gues on the tRump crowd size copmpared to the same people ?

Can’t believe, that despite ALL the evidence against him, Trump still has, so much support, a lot of the voters in the U.S., surely, lacked that, needed, SOUND, judgment all right.

It’s nice of Clay to go to NYC and watch this, so we don’t have to!

Thank you, Clay!! — He was there!! … “I did it, going from Manhattan to Staten Island, back to Manhattan then to Brooklyn, and finally to Queens. Coming back to Manhattan from Queens, I got off the train at the closest stop to Trump Tower. This was a few hours after he had arrived, but I got pics.”

Meh, the Naked Cowboy is pro-Trump? That’s disappointing.
