Donald Trump falsely claimed Tuesday that President Biden was “locked & loaded ready to take me out” during the FBI’s court-authorized search of Mar-a-Lago in August 2022.

This is extremely bad because most Americans believe there will be violence during this election, or maybe after, like January 6, 2021. Donald Trump welcomes and encourages it. Donald Trump posts attacks on people and organizations even though they’ve motivated physical attacks from his followers in the past, like January 6, 2021.

There was that time a Trumper sent pipe bombs to Democrats or the time an FBI field office was attacked. Donald Trump never apologizes, expresses regrets, or tones down his rhetoric after these attacks. Instead, he keeps plowing forward with them. And the worst part is, his MAGAts, even elected ones, and others in public service, repeat his claims.

Sitting representatives should know that Trump’s latest claim is total lunacy but Rudy Giuliani, a former U.S. Attorney, knows it’s a lie. He knows standard FBI search protocol was followed in the legal search of Mar-a-Lago.

This lie is so dangerous that even the FBI released a statement, saying the search followed standard protocol which “includes a standard policy statement limiting the use of deadly force.” The statement read, “The FBI followed standard protocol in this search as we do for all search warrants, which includes a standard policy statement limiting the use of deadly force.” The statement also said, “No one ordered additional steps to be taken and there was no departure from the norm in this matter.”

This same DOJ/FBI policy was in effect during every search during the Trump administration.

Marjorie Taylor Greene repeated Trump’s lie and said that the DOJ and FBI were “planning to assassinate Pres. Trump and gave the green light.”

Former assistant director of counterintelligence at the FBI Frank Figliuzzi wrote on social media, “Every FBI operations order contains a reminder of FBI deadly force policy. Even for a search warrant. Deadly force is always authorized if the required threat presents itself.”

The policy allows agents to use “deadly force” if they’re attacked, not to go into a place shooting.

Former FBI assistant director in charge Steve D’Antuono testified before Congress last year, saying, “It wasn’t even a show of force, right, because we were all in agreement.” And, “We made sure we interacted with the Secret Service to make sure we could get into Mar-a-Lago with no issues.” He also said, “We’re not banging down any doors. We weren’t bringing any like FBI vehicles, everything that was reported about helicopters and a hundred people descending on, like a Die Hard movie, was completely untrue, right. That is not how we played it.”

The agents who knocked on the door at Mar-a-Lago weren’t even in their FBI-labeled jackets as they didn’t want to create a scene. They wore polo shirts.

Trump claims Biden was behind this, but the president was not. Trump claims it was unconstitutional, but that’s another lie. The FBI had search warrants. Trump claims it was an attempt on his life, which is probably the biggest lie.

It could not have been an attempt on his life since he wasn’t even home. He was over 1,000 miles away from Mar-a-Lago during the search. And don’t claim that the FBI didn’t know this as they were in coordination with the Secret Service which has agents with Trump. If the government can find Saddam Hussein in a spider hole in Iraq or Osama bin Laden in a house in Pakistan, then they can find Donald Trump’s ass weebling on a New Jersey golf course.

None of these facts will matter as MAGAts will continue to falsely claim President Biden tried to assassinate Donald Trump. But even if he was trying to kill Trump, so what?

Donald Trump’s shitty lawyers argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court that a president has full and total immunity from being prosecuted for crimes committed while in office, even if he ordered the assassination of a political opponent.

And, Donald Trump isn’t just a political nemesis, he’s a domestic terrorist threat to our nation’s national security.

Be careful what you wish for.
