President Biden is refusing to drop out of the presidential race despite polls and calls from even within his own party for him to do so. Speaking with George Stephanopoulos on ABC News, Biden said only the “Lord Almighty” can convince him to end his reelection bid and hand the reigns to someone else. And if he did hand the reigns over, hopefully, it would be to Vice President Kamala Harris.
I’ve seen one conservative cartoon with God telling Biden to drop out, and there are probably a few others since those guys aren’t the most creative. But why would God want Biden to drop out and Trump to remain? If there’s a voice talking to Trump, it’s not from God or any other benevolent being.
Despite selling Trump Bibles that make the Trump Campaign about as holy as Motel 6 and knowing something of Two Corinthians, Trump is not a religious person, even though he has made references to himself as the “chosen one.”
Did God tell Trump to incite an insurrection, try to steal an election, steal classified documents, sexually assault women, lie over 3,000 times, grift, put children into cages, separate families, piss on veterans, be racist and sexist, to quote Hitler, to defend tiki-torch Nazis, and hire goons like Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller?
The reason God, along with the media, aren’t calling for Trump to step down from his campaign is because neither Trump nor MAGAts are reasonable. It’s like arguing with a MAGA troll on Facebook. You’re not going to get anywhere.
When you call for Biden to step aside, he’ll probably at least listen. The Democrats calling for Biden to step down aren’t being treated by their own party the way the GOP treats NeverTrumpers. They’re not spurned, called disloyal, and primaried. And all those Democrats calling for Biden to step down will still vote for him if he doesn’t. NeverTrumpers, the real ones anyway, will never vote for Trump.
The Democratic Party is not a cult. You can call for President Biden to end his campaign without disrespecting him. He’s done a great job as president and will be remembered by historians who’ll rank him way higher than they rank Donald Trump. I and others just believe he should step down for the greater good, and that greater good is defeating Donald Trump.
Since Joe Biden is a good Catholic, maybe God is talking to him. And since Donald Trump is an evil rancid knuckle-dragging mouth breathing racist evil Oompa-Loompa tiny-fingered fuck, maybe the devil is talking to him.

That’s a good point you made about the Never TRumpers vs. the Dems calling for Biden to step down. It puts things back into perspective. Thank you for that!
Other sources just call the Repubs “disciplined”, but in reality they’re conditioned to “shut up and like it”. It’s easy to forget that the more reasonable Repubs have left or been kicked out.
