Moms for Goose Stepping

Moms for Liberty is a conservative group, and I swear I’m not making this up, but it was started in Florida by three women named Tina, Bridget, and Tiffany. Three white women from Florida name Tina, Bridget, and Tiffany, a gang of Karens, want to make decisions regarding your child’s education.

The Moms started their little club in Brevard County over mask mandates and other covid restrictions but now they’re “dedicated to fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating, and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government.” There’s a lot of “wink wink, nudge nudge” in that.

But the Moms have become a very powerful lobby within the GOP in just two years. They have over 100,000 members in 45 states and half of the 500 candidates they endorsed were elected to school boards. This is very dangerous unless you live in one of the five good states. They had a convention in Philadelphia last week where the main topic was the right-wing war against so-called “woke” instruction related to gender identity, sexuality, race, and racism. Several Republican presidential candidates spoke at their convention, which was just another Republican hate rally.

Ron DeSantis praised the Mom’s efforts to help parents send their kids to school “to watch cartoons, be kids,” and focus on the basics, reading, writing, science, and math, “without having some agenda shoved down their throats.” Yeah, let those kids watch cartoons and be kids. I highly recommend Nimona on Netflix. The animation is amazing. Wink wink, nudge nudge.

Donald Trump kissed the group’s ass and said that Moms for Liberty “is no hate group” and “You’re the best thing that ever happened to America.” Nikki Haley pandered, “When they mentioned this was a terrorist organization, I said ‘Well then, count me as a Mom for Liberty.” al Qaida is a terrorist organization too, Nikki. Do you wanna sign up with them as well?

The reason they mentioned the Moms being a hate group is that the Southern Poverty Law Center recently declared it an “extremist” organization saying that in contrast to the relatively mild agenda on its website, Moms for Liberty’s social media posts, policies, and practices target teachers, school officials and the U.S. Department of Education; advance conspiracy theories, and spread “hateful imagery and rhetoric against the LGBTQ community.”

The American Historical Association has condemned the group’s advocacy of censorship and legislation that “renders it impossible for historians to teach with professional integrity without risking job loss and other penalties.”

But are they a hate group or actually just a bunch of sweet white mothers focused on protecting children from very bad things while making pies? Let’s look at some facts and make our own determination.

Speakers at their “Joyful Warriors” summit included an anti-Muslim goon who’s advocated for shutting down mosques. Another speaker was North Carolina’s lieutenant governor who believes that teaching children about sexual orientation and gender identity is child abuse and homosexuality is “filth” and the transgender rights movement is “demonic” and “full of the Antichrist spirit.” It also included one fucknut who compared the U.S. Capitol Police to the Nazi’s SS and said the U.S. government has no authority outside the PERMISSION of the sheriff” and “is just as much of a federal power as France or Texas within your state.” They want to shape our children’s education they bring up speakers who don’t know history or civics.

Moms for Liberty has formed links with extremist groups and militias which have joined them at several so-called “parental rights” protests at school board meetings. These groups include the Proud Boys, the Three Percenters, Qanon conspiracists, extreme Christian groups (where they probably found the mosque-hating lady), other white nationalist groups, and the Rod of Iron Ministries, which is an AK-47 worshipping club. With the Moms, these groups have harassed and intimidated school board members.

Enrique Tarrio, who was recently found guilty of seditious conspiracy for his involvement in the white nationalist terrorist attack on the Capitol on January 6, said that Moms for Liberty is “the Gestapo with vaginas.” Even dickless Gestapos are not a good thing.

The front cover of “The Parent Brigade,” the newsletter of the Hamilton County, Indiana chapter of Moms for Liberty carried a quote by…wait for it…Adolph Hitler, stating, “He alone, who OWNS the youth, gains the future.”

Tiffany Justice, one of the three founding Karens, has been described as an “antagonizing and disruptive force” who has frequently made “inappropriate outbursts” at school board meetings and has been threatened with being banned from school campuses.

A Brevard County School Board member, who unseated another found Karen, TinaDescovich (who’s married to the chairman of the Florida GOP), said many members of the Moms have called her and other members stating, “We’re coming at you like a freight train! We are going to make you beg for mercy. If you thought January 6 was bad, wait until you see what we have for you!” Some of the Moms called the members “pedophiles” and “groomers” and even called the police to falsely report them as pedophiles.

The chair of the Monroe County, Pennsylvania chapter of the Moms was arrested for harassment. The head of communications for the Lenoke County, Arkansas chapter allegedly threatened librarians with gun violence. A restraining order was issued to the chair of the Livingston County, Michigan chapter after she reportedly told school board members, “We’re coming after you. Take it as a threat. Call the FBI. I don’t care.”

The chair of the El Paso County, Colorado chapter believes “teachers, unions and the president” are engaged in a coordinated effort to make children trans and gay to “break down the family unit, conservative values,” and “slowly erode constitutional rights.”

The Williamson County, Tennessee chapter claimed that a book about Martin Luther King Jr. and the March on Washington promotes “anti-American, anti-White, anti-Mexican” instruction, and singled out a photo of segregated water fountains and an image of firefighters hosing down Black children. The Chapter also demanded the book, “The Story of Ruby Bridges,” removed from schools.

Does any of that make the Moms for Liberty sound like a hate group? My only question is: How are they not a hate group?

Lauren Boebert recently tweeted something about how we can’t have a civil discussion in this country if the left is constantly going to accuse people they disagree with of racism and fascism. But the reality is, we can’t have civil discussions with racists and fascists.

I think the Moms for Liberty are the anti-MILFs.

  1. Possibly the scariest political anti-democracy group there is in the USA today, they are attacking school boards, libraries, town halls, city halls, etc, gaining footholds in the places that have been traditionally ignored by terrorists. They are getting books banned, and they are working to control what children can or cannot be, what they can or cannot learn. They are destroying the infrastructure from the bottom up, and their numb6ers are growing rapidly. The GOP love them, and Democrats are going to learn to fear them. STOP THEM NOW, while you still can. Soon they will be as big as the NRA!

  2. Liberty, Noun – “the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one’s way of life, behavior, or political views.” So if they followed Liberty in their movement, they are the oppressive authority imposing their Karen Fascist Extremist’s view upon the general population. Hate filled “Gestapo with vaginas” using children to get attention but not from the FBI who should designate them a hate group. Your last sentence is a keeper for a T-shirt. Cheers

  3. They are taking over my county as well. And the school board is like… we aren’t aware of any agenda by a group called M4L. Meanwhile, the list of 120 books they want to ban and their use of BookLooks to justify it are directly from them. 🤬
