All of these, except one, were drawn on Friday, February 24.

I knew there was going to be a lot about Trump handing out water and his ugly caps made in China, so I wasn’t sure that was the route for me to take.

I liked this one but I wasn’t sure it was the right statement at the moment, but I don’t recall why I was wavering on it because I loved it when it turned into the official cartoon full of Easter eggs. It was fun.

Well, it’s too late to draw this one now.

This made me chuckle.

I thought this would be great for CNN, but they wanted me to do another subject. I still wanted to draw this cartoon but by last Monday, it had been a week since it happened. Then, I saw that MAGA cartoonists were still drawing about it which even inspired me to add a change to it. Check it out.

Honestly, I like this one better than the two Oompa Loompa cartoons below. I was going to label the guys “AI” or something like that. I liked this because it took on the edits to Roald Dahl’s books while also saying something about artificial intelligence writing books and creating art.

This is the one that was chosen for the CNN Opinion newsletter. I added more Oompa Loompas. It wasn’t my favorite out of this batch but it did really well on social media.

I liked this one better than the one we chose. I think if I’m going to draw an Oompa Loompa cartoon, then it needs to include the racist lying grifting Oompa Loompa.
