CNN Opinion didn’t work me too hard week before last and I was only required to draw four roughs before they picked an idea. That actually gave me most of Friday off and I was able to go to a minor league baseball game. Go, FredNats.

I seriously considered drawing this cartoon but shoved it aside for other stuff.

I did a rough similar to this one several months ago and I didn’t make a cartoon out of that one either.

This one became a real cartoon and a lot of conservatives griped that “that’s not how it works.” But, from all the right-wing cartoons I’ve seen on the subject, they’re the ones who don’t know how it works.

This one became the cartoon for the CNN Opinion newsletter.

I feel bad that I’m giving you such a small batch, especially since next week’s is gonna be small too.
