Roughs, Volume 152

CNN Opinion didn’t work me too hard week before last and I was only required to draw four roughs before they picked an idea. That actually gave me most of Friday off and I was able to go to a minor league baseball game. Go, FredNats.

I seriously considered drawing this cartoon but shoved it aside for other stuff.

I did a rough similar to this one several months ago and I didn’t make a cartoon out of that one either.

This one became a real cartoon and a lot of conservatives griped that “that’s not how it works.” But, from all the right-wing cartoons I’ve seen on the subject, they’re the ones who don’t know how it works.

This one became the cartoon for the CNN Opinion newsletter.

I feel bad that I’m giving you such a small batch, especially since next week’s is gonna be small too.

Which one is your favorite?

Signed prints: The signed prints are just $40.00 each. Every cartoon on this site is available. You can pay through PayPal. If you don’t like PayPal, you can snail mail it to Clay Jones, P.O. Notes on my book, Tales From The Trumpster Fire: There are 19 copies of my book in stock, which go for $45.00 each, signed. Also, I have copies of my first book from 1997, Knee-Deep in Mississippi available for $20.00.

Tip Jar: if you want to support the cartoonist, please send a donation through PayPal to clayjonz@gmail.com. You can also snail it to P.O. Box 3721, Fredericksburg, VA 22402.

  1. Clay, they are all spot on, but I especially like the one about the cure for cancer. Excellent work, as usual, from you! Thanks, pal
