Here’s the second cartoon of December for The Costa Rica Star’s Living Pura Vida series.
Getting a bank loan in Costa Rica is really difficult if not possible. There are no mortgage companies in Costa Rica and any loan has to be by a bank or personal. In the U.S. that would probably be a good thing.
I love sloths. I’ve never met one except those of the human variety. Costa Rica is known for their sloths and if you visit and want to see one in the wild, you have a really good chance of making that happen. There’s even a sloth sanctuary in the nation.
The movie Zootopia inspired this cartoon. If you haven’t seen it and appreciate original stories (which live actions rarely give us anymore), you should check it out. The sloths work at the DMV which makes a lot of sense.
Did you like this cartoon? Want to help a cartoonist make a living? Look to the right of this page and make a donation through Paypal. I need to buy pens, paper, sandwiches, etc.. The starving cartoonist appreciates it. If you’ve donated in the past, THANK YOU!!!
