Now, you know full well a rreal editor would have tried to get away with just reprints of old Ziggy cartoons or the Katzenjammer Kids to save those every fraction of one of those pennies. Or to simply add more room for ads from Murdoch’s Premium Fish Wrappers (All the News that **its). They’d rather have a Kardashian than a Murrow
