No one expects anything but hypocrisy from these people. Why is this newsworthy? A woman from Morocco just won a gold medal. She’s a female since birth, has fought only women, lost several bouts and is presently peeking as an athlete. Leave her out of your petty parochial disputes. We learn nothing from this cartoon. A miss, Clay.

I understood it well enough; it was unnecessary. Those guys are weird enough without picking ona an olympian from North Africa and involving her in American bullshit.

This is not “American bullshit” nor is it a this is not a “parochial” dispute. It is a scientific issue that has yet to be settled. It is not a “sex” or “gender” issue and recent studies have found that among elite athletes, women with XY chromosomes are far more common than they are in the general population.
There are people out there very similar to this person who are taking away from people who only have the “advantages” of the extra chromosome and hormones. Track and field, gymnastic and other sports records at middle and high schools are being broken by people with this chromosomal anomaly – and it is becoming more prevalent wherever there is money or prestige attached to records. It has moved up to university and other records such as the Olympics and other international events. . And yes, I know Imane Khelif was born female and assigned this at birth – but it is claimed she has attributes from both XX and XY which may have given her an advantage. There were disputes over the testing as to what hormones she had in her system but the XY chromosome may also have something to do with it. It is no longer using the restroom belonging to the other sex – it is affecting records specifically differentiated by XX vs XY chromosome. Imane Khelif is not one of these individuals.
The cartoon Clay Jones used to demonstrate the idiocy and weirdness of a grown man dressing in drag and now being, to quote Clay Jones, “a gay-bashing trans-trashing women-hating piece of crap” with so much other horrible rhetoric which shows how out of touch with American values he is. Hence the cartoon. I’ll get off my soapbox now – but sometimes a cartoon is just a cartoon to show the weirdness Americans are up against this election cycle.

My point is don’t attack someone who is innocent to prove the point of the GCoupP weirdness, nothing more. And frankly, you don’t understand genetics.
