Artificial Plagiarism

Here’s your cartoon for this week’s CNN Opinion Newsletter. Please sign up to get these in your inbox every Sunday

I thought I had the week off from CNN until I got an email Friday morning. This week’s edition is the annual Year in Culture edition and I don’t think I drew a cartoon for it the past couple of years, but that changed this year. I was happy to draw a cartoon for it and yes, AI was a big part of culture in 2023 and will probably only be more so in 2024.

I do have next week off as there won’t be a newsletter during Christmas week.

Signed prints: The signed prints are just $40.00 each. Every cartoon on this site is available. You can pay through PayPal. If you don’t like PayPal, you can snail mail it to Clay Jones, P.O. Box 3721, Fredericksburg, VA 22402. I can mail the prints directly to you or if you’re purchasing as a gift, directly to the person you’re gifting.

Tales From The Trumpster Fire: I have five copies and you can order yours, signed by me, for $45.00. You can pay through PayPal to clayjonz@gmail.com. You can also snail it to P.O. Box 3721, Fredericksburg, VA 22402.

Knee-Deep In Mississippi: There are only 16 copies left of my first book, published in 1997. These can be purchased for $40.00

Tip Jar: If you want to support the cartoonist, please send a donation through PayPal to clayjonz@gmail.com. You can also snail it to P.O. Box 3721, Fredericksburg, VA 22402.

  1. I suppose it might have been a big issue in culture in 2003, but it was under the radar back then. Now, though, things have changed significantly.

    1. Yes, I do make typos and I ask that people send them directly to me in email or messenger on the social media platform of their choosing. It would be much preferable than someone informing me in a dickish manner. I do appreciate good sarcasm but this was just extremely rude. Happy holidays.

      1. And speaking of dickish…

I’m not sure what you mean by good sarcasm? I thought my comment rather witty.
You seem hypersensitive, especially for someone in your business. I am generally on your side, for Dog’s sake.

You presume too much. Not everyone uses social media. I know what the f means, but not the W. If you’d care to enlighten me, I’d appreciate it.

Have a Kwazy Kwanza, a divine Diwali, etc.
