Roughs, Volume 207

Most of these roughs were drawn last Friday, December 8. Those that weren’t are from the Maybe Folder.

This is one of the rejects.

And another reject.

This one did turn into a cartoon though I changed it up a bit.

I was still thinking about doing this a week after it was drawn but too many other subjects have gotten in the way. I hope to return to do something on the poison of Vivek Ramaswamy.

Yes, this one became a real cartoon.

I must not have been that enthused with this idea since I didn’t even bother to draw faces.

I wasn’t crazy about this one either.

I liked this idea immediately and the only thing that really changed before it became a real cartoon is I added another verse.

This became the cartoon for the CNN Opinion newsletter.

This one sucked so it didn’t go anywhere.

I also need to clean out the Maybe folder, so here are four roughs from that. These were drawn months ago so it’s probably safe to give up on them now.

This has been sitting in the Maybe folder since at least October.

I’m not sure when I did this one.

No idea when I did this one either.

I drew this shortly before the first debate last August. I think I drew this while I was in Atlanta covering Trump’s arraignment in Fulton County.
