Another heart breaker. I thought Florida was Democrat for Bill Nelson and Andrew Gillum. Before it was even called, Gillum conceded. Major disappointment.

Sometimes I don’t feel that I, or this country, will last that long. Especially losing Florida, where I had the ONLY Gillum/Nelson yard signs in our subdivision . . .

Florida has been a disappointment since 2000, when it was so screwed up that the SCOTUS was able to tip it to W.

It’s ironic that I moved from screwed-up Wisconsin to screwed-up Florida. I really did have hope, though. I think I’ll take a break from politics and concentrate on something positive.

I firmly believe – still – that if Al Gore had won, 9/11 would never have happened; nor all the after-effects of that event. Think how many lives would not have been lost, and how different our society would be today. And think now how many lost lives we can credit to drumpf.

Well, I’d planned (how optimistic was I?) to put celebratory balloons on my GILLUM/NELSON yard sign; I guess I’ll have to go to the Dollar Tree and see if they have BLACK ones . . .
