Steve Bunion went after this Pope for essentially his love of mankind. Of course why not Bannon being the a**hole that he is. The thing about this the Pope he would think your current toon is spot on and would be laughing out loud. Generally speaking the Am Catholics are more conservative than the reminder of the world. Your experience with your old paper does not surprise me one bit. There is a liberal Catholic Church not far from here in which I have many friends who are attenders. They have come to the defense of one head Priest or another over the years and kept the church the way they wanted to be. The anti choice movement was in many ways led in this country by an organization named the Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life. Which of the politics of today in this counter spun out from them sad to say.
