  1. Of course, the judge IS guilty of aiding and abetting undocumented people. And for that, she should be commended/applauded/supported. Of course, we all expected this, even though it’s an oblique attack on “the courts.” As long as the Supremes continue to act as anything but, though, the threat to the honor of ALL federal employees – including the military – continues unabated. Untested. And unsupportable as far back as 1215 (Runnymede) when habeas corpus was codified. Where’s the body? Mar-a-Lago? (all 300 pounds or so of it.)

In mimicing the beginning of the fall of the Roman Empire the present administration doesn’t look far enough, nor deeply enough. JD Vance may be brighter than the Mango Mussolini, but is far less charismatic. (Think of JD as the successor to Caligula, Claudius, who, according to Graves hated the idea of the Empire – which in theory, I do, too. But the Republic that preceded it was an oligarchy, elected (sic) by the citizenry with the direct purchase of votes, hence an elected (sic) plutocracy until the Caesars won. But I digress. Or will JD be more like Claudius’ successor, Nero?)

If the SCOTUS were to develop a backbone and act constitutionally, or the cabinet to finally understand who and what they are enabling and whose support is required to invoke the 25th amendment “what a wonderful world it would be!” (Sam Cooke). An end to this bullshit would actually be in sight.

Until then, I recommend emigration. Even in Europe, the cost of living is quite reasonable. Bring your savings and spend them here. Spend ten years as a registered resident and apply for citizenship.

    Listening to Sam Cooke.
