Roughs, Volume 234

This is part two of all the roughs drawn last week.

This was drawn on Friday, May 17. I thought this was OK. I’m kinda bummed that I didn’t get around to drawing a cartoon on all the goons going to Trump’s trial. I may still get there.

I drew this on Monday, May 13, and I wasn’t sure about it. They’re SCOTUS judges. I’m not that crazy about puppet cartoons. I’m also bummed I haven’t gotten to Aileen Cannon lately.

And then I tried the same concept for all the goons going to Trump’s trial. This was drawn on Friday, May 17

This is another I tried to get to. This was drawn on Tuesday, May 14. I just realized that I drew out another version of this at my favorite coffee shop in Washington last week, and I showed it to my friend Alex who visited me in the coffee shop… and now I’m back in the same coffee shop…and I still haven’t done this cartoon.

I thought this might be too wordy. It was drawn on Friday, May 17.

This was drawn on Friday, May 17, and became the cartoon for last Sunday’s CNN newsletter.

This was drawn on Friday, May 17, and it became this cartoon.

This was drawn on Friday, May 17. It didn’t go anywhere.

I like the point. It was drawn on Friday, May 17.

  1. Oof, that dingbat Aileen Cannon . . . thinking jurors wouldn’t understand the intricacies of the classified documents case! She’s done nothing but stall and drag her feet every step of he way. Is she gonna start passing out IQ tests to potential jurors now?

Anyway. My favorites are the courtroom clowns behind the defense table, both of the puppet cartoons, and “the first to throw stones” (not too wordy, IMO!).
