I just saw a headline and thought it was really good satire until I read the story and realized it wasn’t. Then I Googled it just to make sure it was real. It’s real. Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has declared a state of emergency for Monday’s eclipse.
Congratulations, Arkansas. You have the nation’s dumbest governor.

She did it to release funds for supplies since they will be inun with tourists this week. Not a terrible idea?

This is actually standard practice since roads will be clogged with eclipse tourists and emergency vehicles may have trouble getting to incidents.
Also, Sarah Huckasanders is an idiot, but for a scad of other reasons.
