Roughs, Volume 218

I did it again, or my editor made me do it again. I drew 16 roughs last Friday, March 1. I hate making super long blogs and videos with them, so like I did a few weeks ago, I’m cutting them in half. The second half will be published on Friday or Saturday.

I thought this was just OK and it didn’t go anywhere.

This too. Maybe this is why I had to draw 16.

I really liked this one and it grew up to become a real cartoon. A lot of my clients published it.

I have another rough on this issue I like much better and you may see it tomorrow.

My editor assigned me to do something on the dueling border visit by Trump and Biden on the same day. I didn’t like this one very much because it both sides it.

This is the one that became the cartoon for the CNN Opinion newsletter. I dug it.
