Happy Thanksgiving, kiddos. It’s time for turkey and roughs, and some of these are real turkeys.
I’m not drawing today. I got ahead of schedule this week for my clients and I did my weekly cartoon for CNN yesterday (Wednesday) instead of the usual day, Friday…so I’m ahead of schedule until Saturday. The GoComic streak will continue. I’ll resume drawing tomorrow but today, I want to eat turkey and watch football. But this batch is a collection from the past two weeks, so be thankful for roughs.

I love drawing pandas and I eventually drew three panda cartoons over the past two weeks. This is the one for CNN.

I gave CNN first dibs on panda cartoons which meant this cartoon went to my syndication clients and it’s kind of a sequel to the first one. I didn’t really care which cartoon went to whom because I liked both equally.

This cartoon got me screamed at…a LOT.

I just thought this was funny but I didn’t make a real cartoon out of it because I had already done enough with the pandas. By the way, I don’t believe anyone in China would recognize the food at Panda Express. It’s to Chinese food like Taco Bell is to Mexican food.

This was the first version of the cartoon that ultimately became this cartoon. I liked this one very much.

This didn’t become anything but there was something to it I liked. I did do a cartoon on the GOP infighting.

I drew this more than a week after the other panda cartoons. I think the cartoon came out pretty well.

This didn’t go anywhere.

But CNN did take this and I’m actually surprised at how popular it was on social media.

This is another that was popular throughout this week (it was published last weekend). Several of my clients published it.
Which of these are your favorites?
