Most of these were drawn Friday, September 23.

This one became a real cartoon. I think I drew this last Thursday.

I gave this one serious consideration to become a completed cartoon but other things got in the way.

This one became the cartoon for the CNN Opinion newsletter.

I thought this was OK.

I don’t love this one.

I don’t love this one either.

There’s this thing on TikTok about how often men think of the Roman empire and my editor suggested it as a topic. I only threw one idea on it for him and this was it. I couldn’t really get into it because quite frankly, I’m not one of those guys who think about the Roman empire. But I did learn a few things reading about it and oh my god I’m thinking about the Roman empire.

I don’t like puppet cartoons that much but this rough became this.

I had already done three cartoons on Menendez so this didn’t fly.

This was meh.

I thought this was alright.

And this was OK.

I liked this one but a fellow cartoonist who is also a good friend did something on Zelensky and the “Freedom” Caucus and I thought it might be a little too close, so I scrapped it.
