With Hegseth, DUI has replaced DEI.
I looked up Varvel’s cartoon. I’m surprised he showed the deportees with parachutes instead of just being thrown out of the plane. I always thought that “Columbia” was a metonym for the US, not the name of a South American nation (as in “Columbia The Gem Of The Ocean” (a song written in 1843). Most of the time I see one of Varvel’s scrawlings, I keep hoping he gets his drawing hand slammed in a car door.
