Capitol Riots

MAGA Terror Hoarder

Cjones05182021

I’ve been to Washington, D.C. a lot but I’ve only physically been inside the Capitol once. I’m the kind of tourist that once I do something touristy, I don’t want to do it again. I was in line at Graceland once and overheard some Elvis freaks talking about that visit being their fifth or some shit like that. Trust me on this, nobody needs to see the Jungle Room twice. Three TVs. Oooooh. Also, mirrors on walls don’t actually make rooms look larger, more claustrophobic. If you’ve been to Graceland more than once, seek help. Going to Memphis more than once is bad enough to throw a Graceland trip into it.

My Capitol visit was back in 1999 with my wife (at the time) and a friend of hers who was visiting for a few days. Since 1999 was a long time ago, I don’t remember everything but one of my most vivid memories that day was walking through Statuary Hall in the Capitol, where each state is represented by a statue of one of their most historic figures, and that King Kamehameha looked out of place since he was the only non-white guy at the time and also in a loin cloth (In case you’re a Republican, Kamehameha represents Hawaii). Another vivid memory from our Capitol visit is that we walked through the door without much in the way of security at all. Granted, this was before 9/11, but it was pretty relaxed. We walked in without a tour group, without a schedule, and just roamed around for an hour or so.

I also remember getting lost while trying to leave the city and I didn’t want to tell the two ladies we were lost, so I kept pointing stuff out as we passed it saying stuff like, “And there’s the Watergate…everybody ooh and ahh…ooh and ahh…and there’s the Smithsonian…again.” That doesn’t have anything to do with this subject, but it still amuses me. And if my ex reads this, she’s probably thinking, “I knew it!”

What I don’t remember from that day was breaking through a window or having to beat down Capitol Police to gain access. I don’t recall anyone being maced or having their fingers bitten off. I don’t recall anyone vandalizing the place. I don’t remember anyone being beaten with a flagpole. I have zero memories of any tourists urinating and defecating on the floors and smearing it on the walls. I don’t think any tourists sat down at the Speaker of the House’s desk or stole his (Dennis Hastert at the time) podium. I don’t think 400 tourists were arrested from that visit. I’ll ask my ex later if she remembers anyone chanting to hang the vice-president.

Maybe the reason none of that stuff happened during my visit to the Capitol was because everyone visiting was a tourist…not a terrorist.

During a House hearing this week, Republican dipshit congressman Andrew Clyde, from Georgia, said, “Watching the TV footage of those who entered the Capitol and walked through Statuary Hall, showed people in an orderly fashion staying between the stanchions and ropes taking videos and pictures. If you didn’t know the TV footage was a video from Jan. 6, you would actually think it was a normal tourist visit.”

The orangutan in the 1970s Clint Eastwood movie, “Every Which Way But Loose,” was also named Clyde, but he’s probably changing it now so there’s no confusion with Andrew Clyde.

Clyde, the congressman and not the orangutan, said, “Let me be clear: There was no insurrection.” The orangutan just rolled his eyes.

Let me be clear, the Republican Party is defending terrorists. They’re sitting in the very same building terrorists attacked while defending them. When you attack a government in order to change its leadership through a bloody coup attempt, you are a terrorist. What happened on January 6 is the very definition of an insurrection. Involved with the insurrection were racist groups like Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and One Percenters. These groups weren’t planning on protesting outside. They schemed to bust in and attack the Capitol.

Michael Jensen, principal investigator at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at the University of Maryland said, “Normal Capitol visits don’t include individuals armed with zip ties, bear spray, and blunt objects,” or violent clashes with police. Typical Capitol tourists don’t smash windows, loot offices, or deface Capitol property. Those types of things happen during insurrections, which is what January 6 was.”

Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism said, “A tourist is someone who travels for pleasure seeking, cultural interchange or advancement of knowledge about different places and its inhabitants and does not have a political or criminal purpose. The people who rioted included insurrectionists and others who committed federal crimes for a political purpose to obstruct the legal operations of government. I hope people now don’t just apply that logic to recast John Wilkes Booth as a theatergoer.”

Being that Clyde, (not the ape) is from Georgia, he just might recast Booth as a theatergoer. Also, since Booth shot Lincoln, the former guy the party’s image was cast in, Clyde (the stupid congressman) might be all about it.

The leader of this group of terrorists attacking the Capitol building was the former president (sic) of the United States of America who sent them in order to cling to power. He sent them to overturn an election he lost. He is still perpetuating the lie he won the election. The majority of the Republican Party believes this lie and promotes it.

When Republicans like Elise Stefanik says she’s supports “President (sic) Trump” and that he’s the leader of their party, and an “important voice to the Republican Party,” she’s praising a terrorist leader. People like Stefanik don’t have integrity or honor.

Donald Trump ordered an insurrection to take place at the Capitol and the majority of the Republican Party is more loyal to the terrorism, the lie, and cult than it is to this nation. Those in the party who are not loyal to the cult are removed from their leadership positions and booed at GOP events.

Republicans can gaslight all they want, but what happened on January 6 was a terrorist attack instigated by Donald Trump with complicit actors in Congress.

Let me be clear, the MAGAts attacking the Capitol on January 6 were not tourists. They were terrorists. Even an ape could tell the difference.

The white nationalist Trump terrorists who attacked our nation’s Capitol building to violate a democratically-held election and to re-install Donald Trump through a bloody coup attempt have all turned out to be sissified cry babies abdicating their own responsibility.

Donald Trump was responsible for the white nationalist terrorist attack on the Capitol. He’s responsible for the six deaths and injuries to over 100 Capitol Police officers. He spread lies for weeks that he won the election and it was stolen from him. He told his MAGA goons to be there on January 6. They were there on January 6. Before the attack, he told them to march to the Capitol and overturn the election. But he shares blame.

The people who attacked the capitol, Nazis, Proud Boys, One Percenters, Oath Keepers, Klansmen, and Fox News viewers were adults. Even the guy who brought his mommy with zip ties is an adult. They are responsible for their actions. Al Qaida and ISIS are a bunch of terrorizing, Jihad-seeking mother fuckers pledging death to America, but you don’t see those guys crying that bin Laden made them do it. The Qanon Shaman had his mommy go to court to plead with a judge that her son can’t eat jail food. That’s some serious white privilege.

Several of the attackers have since changed their minds and are now blaming Donald Trump, as if they couldn’t think for themselves. Did it take jail to detox from the MAGA cult?

But they’re not just blaming Donald Trump. They’re blaming Fox News. These terrorists are responsible for their own actions, but Fox News shares blame. They aired Donald Trump’s bullshit. They pounded it into their viewers’ brains. Trump’s minions who went on cable news to advance the Big Lie bullshit didn’t go on CNN or MSNBC. They went to Fox News, OANN, and Newsmax.

So far, 440 people have been arrested in connection to the MAGA riot. One guy’s defense is that he was suffering from an illness his lawyer calls “Foxitus” and “Foxmania.” The attorney for defendant Anthony Antonio (so stupid, he has the same name twice) said he had “Foxitus” from watching six months of Fox News nonstop, and started “believing what was being fed to him by Fox News and Donald Trump.”

This defense isn’t just an insanity defense. It’s a moron defense. It’s a defense of being too stupid to think for yourself. If it’s true you can’t think for yourself, the last person in the world you want doing your thinking is a person like Donald Trump. The second is a racist moron like Tucker Carlson. Sean Hannity is a very close third.

This defendant’s lawyer isn’t the only one arguing you shouldn’t believe Fox News. Fox News’ own lawyers made the same argument in a previous lawsuit. It was specifically about Tucker Carlson’s show, “Assholes Tonight.” And it might work. If you tell me you don’t watch anything except Fox News, I’ll buy the argument you’re a moron.

Let’s get a few things straight: The people who attacked the Capitol did so based on a lie. They were not Antifa. They were not Black Lives Matter. They were Trump followers. They were not protesters. They were terrorists. Anyone who attacks a government is a terrorist. Anyone who tries to change the leader of a government through violent means is a terrorist. They’re not just demonstrators whose passion got the better of them. They’re terrorists. Even Mr. Zip Tie’s mom is a terrorist.

At least 440 people have been arrested in connection with the terrorist attack. There needs to be at least one more.

Osama bin Laden sent terrorists to attack the Capitol building and failed. Donald Trump send terrorists to attack the Capitol building, and while he didn’t succeed in overturning an election and staying in power through a bloody coup attempt, he succeeded in attacking the Capitol.

Inside that very same building Donald Trump’s terrorists attacked are Republicans who are still worshipping the terrorist leader who ordered the attack.

The rich sweet irony here is that MAGA goons love to accuse liberals of being sheep, yet here they are claiming they’re not supposed to be held responsible because they’re incapable of thinking for themselves. But they are responsible and like Donald Trump, Fox News, and every representative who enabled the white nationalist terrorist attack (like Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley Ron Johnson, et al.), they’re all a national security threat.

These people who can’t think for themselves shouldn’t be allowed to choose their own TV shows. Turn off Fox News before you hurt someone…or hurt yourself. Is Hee-Haw still on?

Creative note: I woke up close to 6:00 AM planning to do something with Liz Cheney, Kevin McCarthy, and the bear being used in the California recall…but that went nowhere. Then this came to me.

Fresh Terrorists

Cjones04182021

We don’t just need police reform in this nation. We need justice reform.

Last weekend, Saturday Night Live did a skit of a morning news show where the white hosts were certain Derek Chauvin would be convicted while the black hosts were like, “eh…we’re not so sure.” I’ll be honest, I will not be shocked if Chauvin walks. Sure, his defense has been ridiculous, but have you met white America? The jury is mostly white and they only need to convince one juror there’s doubt of Chauvin’s guilt…not even that he is innocent. They only need one juror to refuse to convict. Let me remind you, they’re in white Minnesota.

Last June, the National Guard used tear gas to clear protesters away from the White House for no reason other than a photo-op for Donald Trump. The attack from the government came before curfew in broad daylight. The protesters were peaceful. Later, additional fences and barriers were placed around the White House. The protesters were protesting against police violence on black Americans.

Before the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, the Capitol Police were told not to use their most aggressive tactics or weapons against the expected “protesters.” Those protesters were terrorists. They were white terrorists. Now, do you honestly believe they would have been told to hold back if they were expecting black protesters? After the white terrorists broke into the Capitol, one was killed by the Capitol Police. If they were black, how many do you think would have died?

MAGAts are still defending the terrorists and they want the cop prosecuted who shot her. Do you think they’d be making the same demands if the terrorist was black and a part of “antifa?”

Daunte Wright was killed by police in Minnesota last Sunday. They police say it was an “accidental” shooting because the cop, a 26-year veteran, mistakenly used her Glock pistol instead of her taser. Police later said they pulled him over for an expired tag, but moments before they killed him, Wright called his mother and said he had been pulled over because his rearview air freshener was obstructing his view. How often do white people get pulled over for air fresheners?

Do you believe Army Lt. Caron Nazario would have been assaulted by police in Virginia if he was white? Do you think they would have approached his vehicle with guns drawn if he was white? Do you think they would have at least apologized by now if he was white? The chief of the Windsor Police Department says the department doesn’t owe Nazario an apology and even though they’ve fired one of the cops, wishes Nazario “would have complied a whole lot earlier.” Somehow, it’s still the black guy’s fault for being pulled over and pepper sprayed despite not breaking any laws. In Windsor, they haven’t fired enough cops yet.

The National Guard tear gassed a black crowd in Washington, D.C. The Capitol Police were told not to be aggressive with a white crowd. The Chauvin defense has witnesses saying he wasn’t aggressive enough while killing George Floyd. The Windsor Police will not apologize for how aggressive they were to Lt. Nazario.

The best evidence we need police reform is America’s police. No more racist cops. No more system of systemic racism.

RoJo Is A Racist Mofo

cjones03162021

On Sundays, my CNN cartoon is published and I try to bask in that accomplishment and not draw anything all day. Maybe I’ll watch a movie on Disney+ or Netflix and avoid news all together. That was my plan for this Sunday, but then Ron Johnson pissed me off.

I think when my copy editor Laura sees this, she’s going to tell me it’s more reality than it is a cartoon. Why? Because this is the gist of what Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson said on a right-wing radio show.

Senator Johnson, who some call “Rojo,” isn’t just a racist senator. He’s a stupid dishonest one too. But then again, he is a Republican and a massive Trump supporter…so being racist, stupid, and a liar comes with the territory.

Ron Johnson watched while the United States Capitol building was attacked by white supremacist terrorist Trump supporters. They broke into the building. The damaged property. They defecated and urinated in the halls. They stole property. They desecrated our Capitol. They injured over 100 Capitol Police officers and they killed one. They attacked cops and beat them with flag poles and fire extinguishers. Over 40 have been arrested so far. Ron Johnson said he only saw law-abiding citizens. It gets worse.

On “The Joe Pag Show,” a radio show I’m assuming has an audience of racist troglodytes, Ron Johnson said he “never felt threatened” by the pro-Trump mob because…wait for it…they weren’t black.

Johnson said, “I knew those are people that love this country, that truly respect law enforcement, would never do anything to break the law, so I wasn’t concerned.”

They broke the law just be entering the building, dumbass. How much respect do you have for the law when you break and climb into windows? How much respect for the law do you have when you’re walking out with the Speaker’s podium? How much respect do you have for this country when you take a shit on the floor of the United States Capitol? How much love do you have for this country when you try to overturn an election and stage a bloody coup attempt?

That was the stupid dishonest part of Johnson’s statements. It was followed by a racist one.

He said, “Had the tables been turned and President Trump won the election and those were tens of thousands of Black Lives Matter and antifa protesters, I might have been a little concerned.”

Basically, white people with nooses, storming the capitol, waving Confederate flags, wearing “Camp Auschwitz” shirts, leaving pipe bombs, killing cops, isn’t concerning…but if one of them had an afro, then I guess the person crapping on the floors would have been Ron Johnson. And you know what? I bet if it had been a non-violent Black Lives Matter protest at the Capitol, the National Guard would have swooped in a lot quicker than they did last January 6 when Donald Trump sent white terrorists to overturn a free election and stop a Constitutional process.

Also, it’s really bizarre Ron Johnson is saying he would have only been concerned if antifa was a part of the rioters when in the past he claimed it was antifa who did the rioting. C’mon, guys. You gotta keep your bullshit talking points straight. Pick a stupid lie and stick to it.

From personal experience, I was never concerned about the crowd I was with when I was walking with Black Lives Matter in New York City on June 1, 2020. I wasn’t even worried when I saw a few stores get looted by the minority of protesters. Even then, they were nice and one even offered me a Jeter jersey. I had great conversations with the protesters and many thanked me for “helping their cause” and for “lending my whiteness.” One girl called me “white brother” which I liked very much. Some of the best Americans I ever met were marching in Manhattan that night to selflessly advance civil rights for every person this nation.

What did concern me was when white people started dropping water bottles on the marchers out of their penthouses. It concerned me when cops started screaming at us while raising their batons. It was greatly concerning when after screaming at me and a few others (who happened to be Asian) to go in a different direction, that after we complied, they kept following and screaming at us. I was greatly concerned when the New York City Police told me I would be arrested if I broke curfew…while they were blocking me from entering my hotel.

Not one black person or member of antifa concerned me that night. But if Ron Johnson had been there, well…he’d probably be up in a building dropping water bottles on peaceful protesters because he would have been concerned because the majority of the crowd was not white.

I saw people in Manhattan, of all colors and races, spend their own money on water and face masks, then hand them out to strangers who were protesting. It was one of the most unifying events I have ever witnessed or been a part of. I felt genuine love between the protesters. What I saw on January 6 at the Capitol was hate, fear, and rage inspired by people like Ron Johnson who told them lies.

You canNOT compare a Black Lives Matter rally or march to white nationalist terrorism in the name of Donald Trump. Black Lives Matter seeks equality for all. They’re demanding that cops stop murdering unarmed black people. Trump terrorists tried to destroy our democracy and install a fascist dictator. If you don’t see the difference in that, well then you’re Ron Johnson.

Any senator who pledges more loyalty to Donald Trump than to his/her constituents is a lousy senator. Ron Johnson has put Trump before the truth and his country on multiple occasions.

Wisconsin’s motto is “Forward.” In 2022 when Rojo is up for reelection, they need to prove they believe in their motto and remove their racist, lying, stupid senator from Congress. If enough black people and anti-fascists turn out to vote, Ron Johnson will be justified in being “concerned.”

Shat In The Hat

cjones03062021

Six Dr. Seuss books will not be published anymore for containing racist images. Unfortunately, Republicans are continuing to put members on the Senate Judiciary Committee despite their being racists and terrorists sympathizers.

While Fox News and other conservatives, and even some liberals, have called the pulling of the Dr. Seuss titles “cancel culture,” the decision was made by the company that owns and publishes the books. None of the titles is a big classic, like “The Cat in the Hat,” or, “The Lorax,” but they did pull “The Racist Senator who started a Riot then fled to Cancun while Texas froze and made his daughters scapegoats.”

The company overseeing the legacy of Dr. Seuss believes that removing these books will preserve his legacy. You know, by hiding a portion of his legacy. Theodor Seuss Geisel, the author who created Dr. Seuss and classics like “Green Eggs and Ham”, considered himself “woke” for his time. Not that they used the word “woke” back then, but you know what I mean. He believed he was open-minded and fighting hate while being unable to conceal his underlying prejudices in depicting conical-hat wearing Asians using chopsticks and grass-skirt-wearing barefoot Africans. It’s kinda like woke governors who champion the Me Too movement, then walk up to strange women at weddings, grabs their faces and says, “You’re aggressive. How about a kiss?”.

Dr. Seuss was pretty racist and he didn’t know it. But ask racists like David Duke and Donald Trump if they think they’re racist and they’ll tell you no, despite the fact they’re racist-covered racists with a racist cream filling (I stole that from Scrubs).

And if the Dr. Seuss company can see that maybe it’s wrong to poison minds by educating them with racist images, then why can’t the Republicans see that it’s poisonous to put people on the panel questioning how the Capitol attack happened when they’re the same mofos who helped instigate the attack?

FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the committee that the attack was committed by domestic terrorists. Seeing that they attacked the United States government to overturn an election, it’s pretty obvious they were terrorists. But they weren’t just any old terrorists. They were racist terrorists. The attack, encouraged by Donald Trump who rallied the terrorists and told them when to be there, were white nationalists. White nationalists are responsible for the majority of all terrorism in this nation.

Of course, the two guys on the committee who are asking, “How did this happen?” are the same two guys who held up certifying the election and encouraged the terrorist attack. Ted Cruz was asking who these terrorists were despite there being video footage of them in the Senate chambers talking about how Ted Cruz was helping them. The other goon on the panel, Josh Hawley, gave them a fist raise of encouragement before the attack.

During the hearing, Hawley was very interested in learning how the FBI was using geolocation data and metadata cellphone records from cellphone towers to track people who participated in the Capitol riot…and then he went outside and smashed his phone with a hammer.

Thing One and Thing Two on the panel continue to wreck the place by spreading the lie Donald Trump won the election and leftist activists were a part of the attack. Say what you will about the Cat in the Hat, but when he was done, he cleaned up his mess.

If I ran a zoo, I’d ban the racist-loving and insurrectionist goons Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley. Nobody wants to see them…except white nationalist terrorists.

Defender of perverts

cjones01212021

Ted Cruz, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, what is it with MAGAt Republicans and punchable faces?

I made a post on social media this week that I turned into this cartoon. After receiving over 300 reactions, I thought, “Why not?”.

Congressman Jim Jordan, who is one of Trump’s biggest henchmen in Congress, who claims he never knew about wrestlers he coached being sexually abused, who voted against impeaching Trump both times, and may be his defense attorney when the Senate trial begins, received the Presidential Medal of Freedom last week.

After watching the medal go to people like Jordan and Rush Limbaugh, I truly hope Joe Biden can restore the integrity to it. Just like Trump’s court nominees, every one of his recipients will have an asterisk next to it.

As for Gym Jordan, he’s real good at ignoring the bad guys, whether it’s Donald Trump molesting the nation or MAGA terrorists sent by Trump to molest the capitol building. Jordan should be counsel for Trump, because he’s a friend to perverts.

Hump Day Treason

cjones01172021

First, I gotta get this off my chest: If you still live at home and you need your mommy to tell the jail you were thrown into after committing a terrorist attack that you can only eat organic food or it’ll give you the rumbly tummy, then maybe you’re not big boy enough to take part in terrorist attacks. Also, I don’t know how you were raised, but if I committed treason, and pooped all over the capitol building hallways, I wouldn’t want my mother to find out. I would have been more afraid of what my mom would have done to me than any law enforcement. These MAGA terrorists? They took their moms with them. As Monica Hess writes for The Washington Post, Zip-Tie Guy might have brought his mother to the terrorist attack. And I always thought the “Tijuana Bring Your Mother To The Gangbang” song was inappropriate.

For weeks, MAGA terrorists were telling us they were coming to the capital to mount an insurrection. They weren’t just telling each other in code on Parler and Gab (EdnesWay, ApitalKay, AboomKay), whatever the hell “Gab” is. They were broadcasting it loud and clear on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. A MAGAt in my friend list on Facebook advertised several times that they were coming to Washington to prevent Joe Biden from becoming president. After the attack, why, it was Antifa who did all the violence…which was awesome and patriotic and…they’re coming back. This person made a post stating that Joe Biden will never be sworn in, but if he is, he won’t be president for long. What does that mean? Well, I think it means enough that law enforcement should pay attention and be prepared. And also, there are Republican members in Congress who talk like that stupid Facebook MAGAt.

Despite the MAGAts advertising they were coming…and despite the president (sic) of the United States saying they were coming and it was going to be “wild,” law enforcement didn’t do much. Even during the attack, requests for back-up went unanswered for hours.

A senior official at the FBI declared the bureau had “no intelligence” that anyone supporting Donald Trump and his bogus claim of having the election stolen from him, was headed to Washington planning to do harm. But that’s not true. The day before the attack, the FBI office in Norfolk, Virginia received a warning that MAGA goons were planning violence and “war.”

The Norfolk office said there were calls for “violence” in response to “illegal lockdowns” to begin on January 6 in Washington, DC. From online chatter, the FBI knew that terrorists were meeting in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and South Carolina and would head in groups to Washington.

One of the hate-forum messages the FBI found and shared internally said, “Be ready to fight. Congress needs to hear glass breaking, doors being kicked in, and blood from their BLM and Pantifa slave soldiers being spilled. Get violent. Stop calling this a march, or rally, or a protest. Go there ready for war. We get our President or we die. NOTHING else will achieve this goal.”

Yeah, that’s the first time I’ve heard “Pantifa” also. I think it’s a combination of “pussy” and “Antifa.” Oh, so clever. Do Antifa guys’ mommies help with their jail food too?

Now there are reports that the MAGA terrorists are planning attacks in every state capital (in case you’re a Republican, there are 50 of them), and once again in Washington, D.C.

Since we know this, law enforcement should be prepared. There are reports that there will be at least 15,000 National Guard troops in the capital on inauguration day. But they also need to be aware of who the terrorists are.

And get this: The Joint Chiefs had to issue a statement to all members of the military that it’s their job to defend the United States, not partake in “sedition and insurrection.” Why did they have to issue this statement? Because some members of the Capitol Police may have helped the terrorists.

Two Capitol Police officers are under suspension and ten more are being investigated. It’s reported that some opened doors for the terrorists and gave directions to specific congressmembers’ offices. One of the cops even posed for a selfie with a MAGAt terrorist.

We know that at least three congressmen helped organize the rally. Trump goon Ali Alexander said he organized the rally with help from Congressmen Mo Brooks, Andy Biggs, and Paul Gosar. During the attack, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert tweeted that Speaker Nancy Pelosi had “been removed from the chamber,” helping the terrorists, like Zip-Tie Guy and his mom, try to find her location. These are conspirators in a terrorist attack. These are people in the United States Congress who committed sedition and rebellion. These are members of Congress who are accessories to attempted murder.

And they’re still cooperating in it. Marjorie Taylor Green, a freshmen member of Congress from Georgia, who is a Qanon follower, tweeted yesterday, “President Trump will remain in office. This Hail Mary attempt to remove him from the White House is an attack on every American who voted for him. Democrats must be held accountable for the political violence inspired by their rhetoric.” And she’s in Congress.

These members of Congress don’t deserve to be in Congress and should be removed as the 14th Amendment stipulates. They also need to be identified as supporters of terrorism.

While the Trump administration is deflecting and re-classifying Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism, Donald Trump is a sponsor of terrorism. And he’s still doing it. Yesterday, he said about the impeachment, “Be careful what you wish for.”

The Proud Boys, who took part in last week’s attack, may be labeled as a terrorist organization by Canada soon. The United States should have listed them as a terrorist organization a long time ago. Instead, who does the Trump administration designate as “enemies of the American people?” The free press and Canadian cheese.

By the way, has Donald Trump called for his MAGAt terrorists to stay home, to not engage in violence? Not really. He said he didn’t want any violence while rambling about stolen elections yesterday. But he hasn’t come out and given an explicit statement against violence or toward the people who he earlier said were “special” and that he loved. Actually, he said that while they were still attacking the capitol building.

These are terrorists trying to overturn an election. Just as terrorists do, they’re basing their beliefs on lies. They’re trying to steal our democracy, destroy our republic, and install a fascist leader. You read the terrorist’s words. “We get our President or we die.” They don’t care what the voters said.

My hope here is that they spent all their money on the last terrorist attack, all the rooms are booked or overpriced in the Washington area for the inauguration (they are expensive), and they don’t hear that a judge helped raccoon-tail-wearing horny Tarzan get his organic jail food (we’re trying to make jail more comfortable for terrorists now?).

For all I care, they can all go to prison, and and eat shit. Them and their mamas.

Impeach Baby

cjones01152021

During the 2016 presidential campaign, President Barack Obama said Donald Trump was “uniquely unqualified” to be president. Donald Trump wasn’t just unqualified to be president. His level of being unqualified was unique. He proved it time and time again.

Donald Trump proved he wasn’t qualified when he asked Russia to help him win in 2016. He proved it during a debate with Hillary Clinton when he said he’d use the Justice Department to go after his enemies. He proved it when he didn’t seem to understand how tariffs work. He proved it when he instituted a policy of ripping families apart and throwing babies in jail. He proved it when he talked about “shithole countries” and said “send them back” about brown female congresswomen. He proved it when he defended tiki-torch Nazis. He proved it by endorsing violence by his thugs and goons. He proved it when he told Proud Boys to “stand by.” He proved it when he asked Ukraine to help him steal an election. He proved it when he asked Congressional Republicans to help him steal an election. He proved it when he took Russia’s side over Americans. He proved it when he slept through briefings reporting that Putin paid bounties on American troops. He proved it when he told his fucknut base that an election was corrupt. He proved it when he sat on his ass and ignored a pandemic that has killed nearly 380,000 Americans.

The final straw was his proving it when he incited his base of terrorists to attack Congress in order to install him as a dictator. Osama bin Laden and Donald Trump are two men who sent terrorists to attack our capitol building. Donald Trump is uniquely unqualified and now, uniquely dangerous.

There are fewer than two weeks before Joe Biden is sworn in and can start to repair the damage from this disaster of a presidency. But what will Trump do in that time?

Donald Trump was still praising terrorists, telling them they’re special and that he loved them after the attack. He didn’t condemn it until his staff pressured him over the threat of being removed. Then, Donald Trump finally conceded that he will not be president after January 20 (a lot of his followers believe the “transitioning to a ‘new’ administration” is a “new” Trump administration without Mike Pence. Seriously). So, since Trump caved, you may believe he’s learned his lesson and will be on his best behavior, whatever that looks like, until the 20th.

After Donald Trump was impeached, Maine Senator Susan Collins said he learned his lesson…then he started firing everybody who testified against him and started breaking laws again. Republicans haven’t learned their lessons either. You can’t trust Donald Trump. Don’t believe me? Go ask Mike Pence.

During the riot, Mike Pence and his family were in the capitol. There were goons with zip ties seeking him out. Donald Trump called senators in the capitol…not to check on Pence’s safety but to keep strategizing on how to steal the election.

Donald Trump doesn’t learn morals, ethics, or lessons. After four years, you think he’s going to learn in the last two weeks? Get the fuck out of here.

And Donald Trump should get the fuck out of here.

The best thing for everyone would be if Donald Trump resigned, but since he hasn’t done it yet, that’s not going to happen.

The second best thing would be for his cabinet to remove him. Of course, they haven’t learned yet that we can’t trust Donald Trump. There are arguments that removing him will make uniting the nation even more difficult. But really? That ship has sailed. Quite frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass about unifying with people who support terrorists. I don’t need unity with people who put a cult of racist personality before their nation. I don’t need unity with people who bring pipe bombs and Molotov cocktails to a protest. Unity with zip-tie guy and Chewbacca bikini? Unity Schmunity.

That brings us to impeachment. Sure, it won’t remove him…even if the Senate was on board. There’s no way both chambers in Congress could move that fast and cooperate…even if you get ten Republicans in the Senate who realize Donald Trump is freaking lunatic and a threat to national security, and agree to toss him out. Plus, there are still traitors and supporters of terrorists in both chambers. By the way, all those idiots need to be removed too, and that includes my treasonous Congressman, Rob Wittman.

Call me “Crazy,” but I don’t think people who oppose elections should hold elected office.

Impeach Donald Trump anyway. A second impeachment will be a larger stain on the worst president in the history of all presidents, and that includes the president of the New York Jets (who by the way, is a Trump appointee as an ambassador). Congress impeached Bill Clinton for receiving oral sex and I don’t think that killed anybody. Trump riot: Five dead (maybe six). Clinton blowjob: Zero deaths and a happy president. After the blowjob, nobody worried about Clinton nuking Ottawa.

And if you can get the Senate to go along, impeachment and conviction may bar him from serving again. There’s a huge dispute on that.

Let’s touch on that dispute. There are memes going around that a “removed” president can not receive his pension, office, staff, Secret Service protection, and other assorted goodies. The argument here is: If he’s removed, then he’s no longer a “former” president, which is what the law says he must be to collect all the benefits. If Congress does not remove him and the Senate convicts him AFTER he’s president, then he’s still a “former” president and will still be eligible for the benefits. You can’t remove somebody after they’re gone. I’m unsure about him being eligible for running again. But make note, being in prison does NOT prohibit one from running for president. People in prison have run for president…from prison. And still that guy wasn’t “uniquely” unqualified for the presidency.

The most important thing (after not playing with the nuclear codes) is that Donald Trump not be president again. Nearly half this nation still supports him. A poll over the weekend showed that 45% of Republicans approved the terrorist attack on Congress. 53% say it’s not Trump’s fault. 50% of Republicans called the terrorists “protesters” and 30% called them “patriots.”

If Mike Pence and the cabinet are patriots, they’ll remove him NOW. Now! Now! Now! As it is, the terrorists are planning another attack, perhaps on the 20th. If I know this, then Donald Trump knows it. Has Donald Trump issued a statement telling his supports to “stand down?” No.

Make the White House like the house in Amityville and have a loud voice say, “GET OUT!” And now it occurs to me, have we considered an exorcism?

Taps For Terrorists

cjones01142021

Ashli Babbitt was a veteran of the United States Air Force. She spent six years in an Air National Guard unit whose mandate, ironically, is to defend the Washington region and respond to civil unrest. Its nickname: the Capital Guardians. Her family describes her as a patriot. Ashli Babbitt died Wednesday attacking the United States Capitol building.

Kevin Greeson’s family said, “He was not there to participate in violence or rioting, nor did he condone such actions.” Yet, Greeson was inside the Capitol building participating in the riot. Officially, he died from a heart attack from all the excitement. Others say the heart attack was provoked when he tasered himself by accident…in the genitals.

Benjamin Philips was a Trump supporter from Pennsylvania. He didn’t make it back to PA because he suffered a stroke during the riot.

Rosanne Boyland told her family back in her home of Georgia, “I’m going to stand on the sidelines. I’m just going to show my support.” She died inside the Capitol Rotunda. Capitol Police say she collapsed and couldn’t be saved. Others on the scene say she was trampled by the MAGA mob.

All four of these people are being called patriots. But each of those who participated in the riot and attack on our nation’s capital are not patriots. They are terrorists.

These terrorists are being turned into martyrs by the Trump cult, a cult that claims it’s patriotic and get upset over someone kneeling during the national anthem, but turns around and supports a terrorist attack on our nation.

These terrorists went to Washington to change the leadership of our government through violence. That’s insurrection, sedition, and terrorism. While claiming they were fighting for liberty, freedom, and democracy, they were fighting to disenfranchise millions of voters.

The Trump Cult opposes peaceful protests by Black Lives Matter and any time there is violence or looting from the protests, they’re quick to call it a riot. They’re still calling what happened Wednesday a “protest.” It was a “protest” where participants brought guns, Molotov cocktails, and pipe bombs.

What happened Wednesday by Trump supporters is the very definition of terrorism.

But how is it terrorism when they’re passionate about their beliefs? Those 19 hijackers on 9/11 were also passionate about their beliefs. One difference between the terrorists on 9/11 and the terrorists on 1/6, the 9/11 guys weren’t traitors. The Trump Terrorists’ “passion” is based on lies and conspiracy theories. They follow a cult leader. Osama bin Laden and Donald Trump have both ordered attacks on our nation’s capital.

We are no longer post-9/11. Now, we are post-1/6. Which is worse? An attack on our nation by a terrorist based in Afghanistan or an attack on our nation by a terrorist living in the White House?

All these tMAGA terrorists were incited by Donald Trump. White House sources say he was thrilled during the attack. After the attack, before he condemned it, he told the MAGA mob they were “special” and “we love” them. Ivanka Trump sent, then deleted, a tweet calling the terrorists “patriots.”

Donald Trump told the mob to go to Capitol Hill and “fight like hell.” Rudy Giuliani urged “trial by combat.” You can argue those were just provocative political speeches, but the terrorists went directly from the hate rally to Capitol Hill, which they proceeded to attack. During the attack, instead of calling and ordering the military to defend Capitol Hill, Trump was calling congressmen and senators to continue objecting to the electoral college. Donald Trump’s priority was to save himself, not the nation.

Ashli Babbitt took an oath to defend and protect this nation. So did Donald Trump. So did all the members of Congress who tried to overturn a democratically-held election, then continued their attempt to overthrow an election after the riot. These traitors, terrorists, and supporters of terror all betrayed their country. Coups are not patriotic. Destroying a republic is not very Republican.

This cartoon and column will be controversial, but it shouldn’t be. We should not be afraid to call these people terrorists. They did not die for their country. They died attacking their country and trying to install a fascist dictator through violence. We should not be afraid to call them what they are. They are terrorists. If you support them, you support terrorists who attack America. You also lost all credibility to oppose any protest…ever.

The one patriot who died (so far) from the attack is Brian Sicknick, a Capitol Police officer who died during the attack defending our nation’s capitol building and those who serve in it. Today, the flags over Capitol Hill are flying at half-mast. The flag over the White House not been lowered. Why?

The flags have not been lowered over the White House to pay respects to Office Sicknick because Donald Trump and his supporters don’t love America or those who serve it. Donald Trump and MAGA love terrorists. He said so himself.
