Last week I drew a cartoon depicting a human being about to be decapitated. This week I drew a cartoon of a policeman shooting a kitten. Guess which one provoked angry comments?
I didn’t receive one negative comment on the American journalist being beheaded by ISIS. I got blog comments, emails and angry tweets about the cat. I’m really surprised the cat cartoon made USA Today this weekend as they don’t normally run stuff that might be interpreted as confrontational.
As a kicker I saw a lot of tweets that my Hello Kitty/My First Uzi cartoon was bullying. Go freaking figure.
