The Fun One

Mike Peterson showcased one of my cartoons again at his excellent site, Comic Strip Of The Day, and referred to my cartoon as “the fun one” among the others he posted.  Mike talked about the Redskins name issue.

It’s been a decent week for me getting attention.  I started my little self syndication venture last February so any promotion is good.  I always appreciate when Mike promotes a cartoon of mine.  Earlier this week George Takei shared one of my cartoons on Facebook which at this moment has 52,861 likes and 5,646 shares.  My haters who comment on the FLS blog say I have an audience of one (oblivious to the fact they are my audience).  I should introduce them to Mr. Takei’s Facebook page, but they’d probably feel “icky.”

I sent an email to George and thanked him for sharing the cartoon and I asked in the future that he include a link to my website (the one you’re reading now) and I just noticed he went back and did just that.  That’s probably why this site got three times the amount of hits it usually gets.

George and Mike you’re classy gentleman.  Thank you.
