Telepathetic Trump

Part of Trump’s defense for having classified government documents at Mar-a-Lago is that he declassified all of them. That doesn’t explain why he took the documents and worked so hard not to return them to the government. It doesn’t explain why he obstructed justice to keep them. It doesn’t explain why documents on the nuclear capabilities of our allies or the personal life of the French president are so personal to him. He has not explained yet why he wants these documents. Maybe he wants to market a new brand of atomic French ticklers.

He’s also failed to prove he’s declassified them. The defense from him and his supporters has been that he can declassify a document by merely pointing at it and saying, “You’re declassified.” Kash Patel and others have argued without supporting evidence there was a policy that anything Trump took out of the Oval Office was immediately declassified. His former chief-of-staff says there wasn’t.

Trump’s own lawyers have balked at using the argument that everything was declassified. The Special Master they requested to review all the stolen documents appeared skeptical of Trump lawyers’ reluctance to say whether they believed the records had been declassified.

Trump lawyer James Trusty said, “In the case of someone who has been president of the United States, they have unfettered access along with unfettered declassification authority,” while failing to point out which if any of the documents have been declassified.

They argue that a president has absolute authority to declassify information. This is true, but there is a process to this other than just imagining it. Or is there?

Donald Trump seems to believe he can declassify a document just by thinking about it.

In an interview with pro-Trump goon and fake journalist Sean Hannity last night on Fox News, Trump said he could declassify documents “even by thinking about it.” Trump is claiming everything he took from the White House to Mar-a-Lago was declassified, though nobody else was aware of it. I guess that means he declassified everything in top secret with his mind.

He also blamed General Services Administration employees for what was in the boxes he lifted to Florida, saying he didn’t pack any himself, they did. The GSA disputes that saying they did ship the boxes but didn’t pack them or even know what was in them.

That’s kinda like Trump blaming banks for not catching his grifting.

New York State is suing Trump and his three trust fund babies, Jr, Eric, and Ivanka, for manipulating property values to deceive lenders, insurance brokers, and tax officials. Donald Trump would often claim property was more valuable than it actually was in loan applications, then claim it was less in tax filing.

He said if there were discrepancies about his property values, the banks should have done more diligence. But maybe they would have if he didn’t use his amazing brain powers to hypnotize them.

Yes, Trump Tower is actually taller than it really is.

Yes, your gold-plated apartment for assholes is really 30,000 square feet, and not 10,000.

Yes, Mar-a-Lago is way more valuable than it seems.

Yes, Melania’s boobs are real.

No, you’re doesn’t resemble a bleached pass-out ferret.

No, those pants don’t make your butt look big.

Yes, every woman desires you.

Yes, they will let you do it if you’re famous.

Yes, Big Macs and KFC are essential parts of a healthy diet.

Yes, ketchup is a vegetable.

Yes, you are the most amazingest and bestest president ever.

Yes, nobody knew Lincoln was a Republican until you told them.

Yes, there were revolutionary airports.

Yes, you really are only 230 pounds.

Yes, you won the election but it was stolen from you by Never-Trumpers and ketchup haters.

No, Qanon is not a cult.

Yes, you’re still president and will be reinstated any day now.

Yes, you’re the best businessman ever and totally not a grifter.

No, I didn’t have my wallet with me when I entered the room.

Donald Trump wants us to believe he’s smart and has a brilliant mind. He’s really insecure about it which is why he keeps telling us he’s a “stable genius” and came up with “person, woman, man, camera, TV.” But the only people who fall for that crap are fucking morons.

Hurricane Trump

Hurricane Maria is one of the best examples that prove Donald Trump was a disaster of a president, wasn’t prepared for the job, wasn’t qualified for it, and had no interest in serving anyone other than himself. Donald Trump’s pettiness in dealing with the disaster that hit Puerto Rico was only topped by his pettiness in dealing with the disaster of the coronavirus.

When Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, Donald Trump wasn’t aware that the island was a U.S. territory or that it was even an island. He didn’t know the island had a governor and instead, tried to call Puerto Rico’s president. Unfortunately for Puerto Rico, and the rest of us, its president at the time was Donald Trump (sic).

In 2021, a report by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General confirmed that the Trump administration blocked around $20 billion of congressionally-approved disaster relief from reaching Puerto Rico, and then blocked the investigation that was trying to find out why the aid was being blocked.

After the hurricane hit, Trump went to Puerto Rico and tossed out paper towels to victims. He then returned to Washington and told top officials in his administration “that he did not want a single dollar going to Puerto Rico.” He would later downplay the number of deaths from the hurricane which is what he later did with COVID.

Trump and his administration crafted talking points about there being too much corruption in Puerto Rico to send them disaster relief. It wouldn’t surprise me if Trump wasn’t trying to find a way to skim off some of that disaster relief for himself. He should’ve looked into funneling it through Brett Favre. It’s believed that Trump attempted to funnel the money toward his useless racist border wall he promised Mexico would pay for.

Donald Trump really hates brown people.

Florida and Texas were also hit by hurricanes in 2017 but the Trump administration didn’t block any funding for those Trump-voting states. Puerto Rico can’t vote in presidential elections.

By the time HUD released its report, Puerto Rico had received about $19 billion of $69 billion that the government allocated for the island. It took President Biden to start releasing the rest of it.

Trump feuded with officials in Puerto Rico, specifically the mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulín Cruz. When Hurricane Florence was approaching the territory in 2018, Trump reignited his feuds with the island tweeting, “We got A Pluses for our recent hurricane work in Texas and Florida (and did an unappreciated great job in Puerto Rico, even though an inaccessible island with very poor electricity and a totally incompetent Mayor of San Juan). We are ready for the big one that is coming!”

Over 3,000 people died from the effects of Hurricane Maria, yet Trump and his administration repeatedly denied the facts and claimed the true total was only 64.

Cruz tweeted, “Pres Trump thinks loosing [sic] 3,000 lives is a success. Can you imagine what he thinks failure looks like?” Like he does with most women he feuds with, Trump called the mayor “nasty.”

Trump managed to make it all about him like he did with the pandemic, and like he’s doing with the documents he stole.

Trump claimed the stolen government documents he stole “are mine, not theirs.” He’s yet to explain why he took them or which ones he supposedly declassified. He’s yet to offer any proof of declassification and today, it’s something his lawyers are struggling with.

And in New York, the state is suing the Trump Organization for fraud and is seeking to bar Trump and his three oldest children, Jr, Eric, and Ivanka, from ever doing business in the state again. She’s also referring criminal charges to federal prosecutors.

Donald Trump is a grifter. His business, presidency (sic), and life have been nothing but a con. His cons have destroyed lives. People have died from the results of his cons. Donald Trump has never been a successful businessman but he’s a hugely successful con man.

Lock him up.

Brokeback Waters

As this article in The Tempest points out, right-wingers have been upset over a black Little Mermaid since at least 2019.

Some conservatives are using the term “blackwashing,” stealing the term “whitewashing,” which is when a white actor plays a non-white character. I saw a few posts saying Disney should now do live remakes of Princess and the Frog and Moana, but cast white actresses to play Tiana and Moana.

But Tiana is black and Moana is a Polynesian. Ariel’s race in The Little Mermaid isn’t important to the story. Plus, fish girls do not actually exist.

Some people who’ve criticized the casting of making Arial black claim Disney is making a black actress piggyback on an old story. They would rather Disney create new stories and new princesses and make them black, so they can have their story.

I don’t mind there being a black mermaid and I think it’s a good thing because it makes a lot of black little girls happy. But I’m also on the side of making new stories instead of making remake after remake. Do we really need two Little Mermaids, Two Lion Kings, two Lady and the Tramps, Two Mulans, Two Parent Traps, Two Dumbos, two Pinocchios, two Jungle Books, Two 101 Dalmations, two Beauty and the Beasts, two Pete’s Dragons, two Cinderellas, two Aladdins, etc, etc? Actually, some of these have been made more than twice.

I don’t mind some of these remakes, such as Junge Book. Who didn’t like Bill Murray as Baloo? But I also want new stories. I love Disney movies, especially animations. I want new stories to marvel at, like when they came up with Wreck-it Ralph (which I’ve watched about ten times by now and will watch again). Of course, that film also had a sequel, which included every Disney princess ever which was fun.

Don’t get upset over stuff like race or sexual identity in movies (I suspect Vanellope von Schweetz might be a lesbian). Just sit back and enjoy them.

I’m also on the side of making new stories with diversity in the lead characters. While I like a black Little Mermaid, they should do more new stuff like Princess and the Frog, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and Moana.

Pixar recently gave us Soul, which has a black lead though I don’t think Jamie Foxx counts as a Disney princess.

What can I say? I like cartoons.

Coyote Fugly

Did Ron DeSantis break the law when he transported migrants from Texas to Massachusetts?

A coyote is a person who smuggles human beings across the border from Mexico into the United States. They’re horrible vile people who ship human beings like cattle, will take all their money, lie to them, and often not deliver as they promised. Sometimes, a coyote’s victims will die during the smuggling. If our border was actually open as the fucknuts who watch Fox News like to say, then there wouldn’t be any coyotes because nobody would have to be smuggled.

If we actually had open borders, people would be walking right on through saying, “My, how lovely it is that these borders are open,” and we wouldn’t be finding 53 dead migrants packed in the back of a tractor-trailer in San Antonio. Those people were murdered by coyotes.

Florida’s governor has become a coyote. He smuggled immigrants across borders, state borders. He lied to them. He used them for a political payoff. He probably broke the law while doing so.

Florida has a fund of $12 million to transport migrants from out of the state. DeSantis used this money to transport migrants, but not out of the state of Florida. He smuggled them from Texas to Massachusetts. He plans to spend “every penny” of the $12 million on these stunts as he said it “hit the jackpot.”

DeSantis defends using state funds to transport migrants from Texas to Massachusetts saying, “Most of them are intending to come to Florida. Our view is you have to deal with it at the source.”

How does he know that “most” of them are intending to come to Florida? Is DeDumbass a mind reader? And, they can still go to Florida. Shipping them to Massachusetts is only a detour to where they want to go.

DeSantis, like most Republicans, is a liar.

DeSantis is copying the political stunt created by Texas’ Greg Abbott, which was also copy-catted by Arizona’s Doug Ducey. I expect more red states to start trafficking humans to blue cities, even if they don’t have a large immigration problem.

They claim this is to highlight the problem at our border with Mexico and the havoc immigration from south of the border is playing with our border states. But, that’s a lie.

Sure, there’s a heavy price and burden on border states from immigration, but it’s not the crisis Republicans make it out to be. And, in case you never looked at a map, Florida is not on the southern border. Florida is on the east coast and borders Georgia and Alabama and is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. Florida is closer to Cuba than it is to Mexico.

Florida has immigration issues from the Caribbean, but it’s not those immigrants DeSantis is screaming about or trying to make political hay from.

DeSantis is a racist and believes that trolling liberals by dumping immigrants from Venezuela in so-called sanctuary cities will play well with the racist base. He’s right. They love it. He got a standing ovation at a Republican fundraiser in Kansas, which I kinda expect to start deporting migrants from Texas to liberal states soon as well. It’s just too bad that DeSantis may have broken multiple laws with these political stunts.

These are stunts. When you don’t inform authorities at the destinations that you’re dropping off migrants, it’s a stunt. When you drop them off at the residence of the vice president, it’s a stunt. When you drop them off at a liberal vacation destination, it’s a stunt. When you lie to the migrants about housing, jobs, and even where they’re going, it’s a stunt. If you’re a Republican, everything you do is a stunt. Most actions by Republicans create problems, not solve them.

DeSantis probably broke the law by using state funds for his political stunt. Hopefully, there’s someone in Florida who can prosecute him for it because the state legislature will probably defend him despite writing the law that stipulates those funds can only be used to transport migrants from Florida. Unless somebody moved it recently, Texas is not in Florida.

It’s not just stealing taxpayer money for his personal trolling that DeSantis could be in trouble for. A Massachusetts state Representative, Dylan Fernandes, is calling for the Justice Department to investigate Florida’s number-one troll. Fernandes said, “We are requesting that the Department of Justice open an investigation to hold DeSantis & others accountable for these inhumane acts. Not only is it morally criminal, there are legal implications around fraud, kidnapping, deprivation of liberty, and human trafficking.”

Fernandes said he has spoken with U.S. Attorney Rachel Rollins, adding that she was pushing for a Justice Department response.

Lawyers for Civil Rights, a Boston-based group that represents more than 30 of the migrants flown to Massachusetts, also called for a federal investigation into their relocations. The group wrote letters to the Rollins and Massachusetts Attorney General saying, “While we are working to protect our clients’ rights in immigration proceedings and exploring remedies for civil rights violations, we also strongly believe that criminal laws were broken by the perpetrators of this stunt. We therefore ask that you open a criminal investigation into this matter.”

These governors do not have the authority to transport migrants and dump them off in locations for political stunts. Do you know who drops immigrants off in locations without coordinating with the local government? Coyotes.

These stunts can be classified as “human trafficking.” It’s evil. DeSantis is a coyote and he’s proudly howling about it.

Ding-a-Ling Welfare Cheat

If you have ever griped about how much we spend on welfare or people cheating the system, then you have to be royally pissed at this action.

Retired NFL quarterback Brett Favre wanted to build a new volleyball court for Southern Mississippi University while his daughter was a student and a member of the school’s volleyball team. He got around $6 million for this although about a million ended up in his pocket. Where did the money come from? It came from welfare funds intended to assist the poorest people in the poorest state.

This bombshell was exposed by Mississippi Today after a two-year investigation.

Mississippi State Auditor Shad White revealed dozens of text messages showing how Favre, former Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, and nonprofit leader Nancy New coordinated on procuring welfare funds to finance an $8-million volleyball stadium. The auditor’s office is claiming the full amount of money stolen from the welfare fund is over $77 million.

The Mississippi Free Press reports, “New ran the nonprofit Mississippi Community Education Center when it directed $5 million in Temporary Assistance For Needy Families to The University of Southern Mississippi Athletic Foundation, whose board she sat on, to fund the stadium on the Hattiesburg campus. Her nonprofit also directed $1.1 million to Favre for motivational speeches he never delivered.

The Free Press reported that New and her son, Zach New, have pled guilty to multiple state charges,  including bribery and wire fraud as part of a plea agreement. The newly revealed text messages, revealed publicly in a court filing in a separate civil suit this week, shed light on how $6.1 million meant for the poorest families in the poorest state wound up going to Favre and a pet project at his alma mater instead.

The state is suing to recoup the welfare funds and states New’s organization “paid Favre $1,100,000 simply for the ‘purpose of enriching’ him.” That’s over a million bucks for a guy who made at least $140 million during his NFL career, not including endorsements.

Favre claims he never knew the money was being stolen from a welfare fund intended for the poorest in the nation, but a text message from him suggests he knew something wasn’t right.

In 2017, he texted New, “If you were to pay me is there anyway [sic] the media can find out where it came from and how much?”

New replied, “No, we never have had that information publicized. I understand you being uneasy about that though.”

Favre replied, “Awesome I needed to hear that for sure.”

Yeah, there was no way the media would ever find out, said New, unless of course they caught her and she rolls on you in a plea-bargain agreement.

I hope New didn’t get any other suspicious text messages from Favre, because he has a sordid history with such things. I mean, after what he did while a member of the New York Jets should have him banned from owning a cell phone with a camera ever again.

In 2013, Favre settled out of court with two massage therapists after they accused him of sending inappropriate and unsolicited sexual text messages to them while he played for the Jets in 2008. Favre’s lawyers said he was innocent, but he still paid them. I hope he got off cheaper than Deshaun Watson.

Favre was also investigated by the NFL after Jenn Sterger, an in-house TV host for the Jets claimed he sent her pictures of his penis, but ruled he had not violated the NFL’s conduct policies, but still fined him $50,000 for failing to cooperate with the investigation.

Sterger claimed to a Deadspin writer that despite her rejecting his advances, Favre sent her multiple penis pictures with one of him masturbating while wearing a pair of Crocs.

Apparently, there’s a Ten Commandments to sending unsolicited wiener pics to women. Charles Barkley, who saw the photos sent from Brett To Jenn (unless Favre sent them to him too) said, “My biggest problem with the whole Brett Favre thing is if you’re going to send a woman a picture of your junk, it should be huge. You can’t send small junk to a woman and expect anything. Seriously you have to be like Ron Jeremy or some of those other porn stars. If you send a woman a picture of your junk, it should be humongous, it shouldn’t be small. That’s one of the Ten Commandments.”

I don’t think the tiny size of a penis is the “biggest” problem with sending an unsolicited penis picture to a woman. The act of sending the picture is the problem. The sexual harassment of the act is a larger problem. But yeah, dudes…if it’s small, keep it in your Wranglers (a brand of jeans Brett endorsed).

This is a lot of shit for Favre to deny from sending penis pics to infidelity to cheating welfare recipients to wearing Crocs…sheesh. Is there not a low this man won’t stoop to?

This type of corruption involving white conservatives (Brett Favre endorsed Donald Trump) funneling funds from poor Mississippians, who are disproportionately Black, is a centuries-long problem that was exposed recently in the failure of the crumbling water system in Jackson, Mississippi.

Conservatives love the idea of drug testing recipients of social welfare while never advocating the same policy for executives of corporations that receive welfare. In locales where these tests have been conducted, they’ve found very few drug users on welfare. It’s not a rampant problem among welfare recipients, but when you do find one, why punish his or her children? No cheese for you because daddy smoked a reefer?

But, if you really love the idea of drug testing to find welfare cheats, then maybe we should test Brett Favre. It shouldn’t be a problem because he does like to whip his penis out.

Roughs, Volume 154

Some of these roughs were drawn last week (September 8) and others were drawn the week before (September 1, 2). Since I made last week’s blog of roughs entirely about the Queen, I’m smooshing the roughs from the past two weeks together. I’m also withholding one as I may use it later.

I wanted to do something about Sarah Palin losing her bid to become a member of the House of Representatives. It’s always fun to bash dumb Republicans and I can’t believe I missed this chance. But, this wasn’t the idea to do it with. I didn’t get a Serena cartoon in either. This idea had a short window as I wrote it after Serena won her first U.S. Open match, and I knew it would close soon. I held off because I was pretty sure Serena would lose eventually, and then the cartoon wouldn’t be relevant anymore. I was right. Though I’m sure Sarah will return in one form or another.

I came up with this one when the photo of the evidence was released and it showed classified government documents kept at Mar-a-Lago right next to copies of Time Magazines with Trump on the cover. I think the window has closed on this, but I still like it. I especially liked how the spontaneously-drawn Trump turned out in the rough.

This one became an official cartoon. A lot of MAGAts screamed at me.

I liked this one too but didn’t use it.

I held off on this one because when I drew it, I didn’t feel it was right to include Trump in my Queen coverage. After a couple days, I was sick of all Queen topics, so I let this one go. But, I’ve seen a couple of other cartoonists do similar cartoons. I’ve seen cartoons of him wanting a crown or claiming Charles stole it from him.

This one became an official cartoon and a lot of my readers loved it though it did make a few MAGAts scream at me.

I didn’t like this one very much.

I didn’t love this one either.

This one became an official cartoon and it did pretty well on social media. A few people who probably never shower screamed at me.

Which ones are your faves?

Warning: Next week’s batch is gonna be HUGE.

Great-Great-Fascist-Grandfather

Ron DeSantis may be a sniveling racist lying gaslighting homophobic fascist hypocrite, but his great-great-grandmother was a legit badass.

Luigia Colucci left Italy at the height of World War I. She set sail on a steamliner named Patria for the United States with two daughters while pregnant in 1917. She arrived at Ellis Island on February 21, 1917.

Italian immigration plummeted during the war from over 150,000 in 1914 to less than 18,000 when Luigia left Europe. The reason is German submarines torpedoed anything and everything out of the Atlantic Ocean during World War I, and in case you’re not a history buff, Italy was on the side of the allies against Germany during the first world war. But Luigia took on those German submarines to reach a land of better opportunities for her children and descendants. And she barely made it in.

While Luigia Colucci crossed the Atlantic Ocean, the U.S. Congress passed the Immigration Act of 1917. Among other restrictions on “undesirable” immigrants, it barred illiterate people from entering the United States. Luigia was illiterate. She barely made it in before the window closed. She was detained for a week because of her pregnancy before she was allowed to continue her journey to Pennsylvania to meet up with Ron DeSantis’ grandfather, another Italian immigrant, Salvatore Storti, who had been in the United States since 1904. There is no record of him returning to Italy.

If Luigia Colucci and Salvatore Storti were to enter the U.S. today pleading asylum, would Ron DeSantis deny them or fly them to Martha’s Vineyard for a political stunt? Probably not because they’re not from South America.

Would DeSantis chastise his great-great-grandmother for becoming a citizen through chain migration? Would he have called her baby born in the U.S. an “Anchor baby?” Would he have called her “undesirable” since she was illiterate and uneducated?

This isn’t a gotcha on DeSantis for his ancestors being immigrants to the United States. Just about all of us here are descendants of immigrants. The gotcha here is that Ron DeSantis is a hypocrite.

The people Ron DeSantis is flying to so-called sanctuary cities are here legally. They’ve requested asylum. They’re documented. Their next act will be contributing to the culture and melting pot of our nation. The greatest thing about our nation is our diversity. When whites are no longer the majority of this nation, it won’t be a tragedy. It’ll be the continuing evolution of our nation.

The irony is that the people DeSantis is using as political pawns came here to escape fascism in Venezuela. Now, they’re being victimized by a fascist in Florida.

The greatest threat to our nation is not immigration, legal or illegal. If we really wanna make America great again, let’s welcome these immigrants and deport fascists like Ron DeSantis.

Luigia Colucci braved the kaiser and his submarines to reach a better life for her and her descendants. Now, today’s immigrants have to brave her descendant.

Hardee Times for the MyPillow Guy

Mike Lindell, a former crackhead who now sells shitty pillows and absurd conspiracy theories was served with a subpoena this week and had his cell phone seized by the FBI. How do we know this? Because Mike Lindell told us and displayed a picture of the subpoena on his online TV show, which I just found out is a thing.

Taking into account that we learned of this through Lindell, you’d be justified to believe Pillow Goon is lying again. But, an FBI spokesperson from the Denver office issued a statement that didn’t confirm Lindell was served with a subpoena and had his phone taken away, but it did say, “Without commenting on this specific matter, I can confirm that the FBI was at that location executing a search warrant authorized by a federal judge.”

The statement didn’t just say they were there for curly fries. Why would I make a curly fries joke? Because this happened at a Hardee’s drive-thru. Why do I always confuse Hardee’s with Arby’s despite the fact Hardee’s stole Carl Jr’s yellow star sign. I don’t know. All three are places I never go to.

FBI agents served Lindell with a grand jury subpoena in Mankato, Minnesota. He said agents questioned him about Tina Peters, the Mesa County, Colorado clerk who was indicted in March on charges that she helped an outsider copy sensitive data from the county’s elections systems in May 2021.

The FBI is conducting multiple investigations into alleged security breaches of local elections offices in Colorado, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Thighland. These investigations are separate from their January 6 coup attempt investigation and their stolen documents at Mar-a-Lago investigation. There’s also a state investigation in Georgia over Trump’s attempt to have the state’s Secretary of State flip the election for him and other election fraud shenanigans from goons like Rudy Giuliani.

Lindell said the FBI agents also asked him about an image copied from a Mesa County voting machine that was published on his website, Frank Speech. At first, I thought “Frank Speech” was a person.

Lindell said he wasn’t involved in the copying of Mesa County’s election management system and did not meet Peters until she attended a “cyber symposium” he held in South Dakota in August 2021. Regarding the Colorado election fuckery, he said, “I have no idea what went on then. I have nothing to do with it.”

Lindell actually sent his private jet to bring Peters to his bullshit hater symposium and paid for her lodgings, security, and now lawyers. He probably splurged and super-sized her combo meals too.

Lindell has used his pillow fortune to promote the Big Lie that there was rampant voter fraud in the 2020 election and that Trump is the actual winner. He’s paid for films and conferences on the bullshit. Dominion Voting Machines is suing Lindell for defamation.

Now, Lindell, Trump, and other MAGAts are crying like little beyotches over him having his phone seized and being served with a grand jury subpoena while in a Hardee’s drive-thru.

These fuckers think this is Highlander but instead of churches being the holy ground sanctuary where combat is forbidden, it’s Hardee’s drive-thrus. Is it just Hardee’s or can you also declare sanctuary at Whataburger?

Others are declaring that serving a subpoena to a pillow fucker in a drive-thru is fascism. No, fascism only happens at Burger King. You know that king wasn’t elected and has the job Trump wants…a monarch with access to unlimited hamberders.

Ixnay Abortionyay Anbay

Lindsey Graham has never been a leader or a man with convictions. He’s a spineless coward who has the great fortune of being a United States Senator representing one of the least educated and most backward states in the nation.

Graham spent the bulk of his career following Senator John McCain, a man with actual principles. A man Donald Trump hated and said was only a war hero because he was captured. Graham was one of the umpteen candidates in the 2016 GOP primary and at the time, he said the best way to make America great again was by telling Donald Trump to “go to Hell.” After the election and the death of John McCain, Graham did a 180 and crawled up Donald Trump’s ass. Good thing it was an ample ass because it needed room for other former Never Trumpers like Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul among others.

After Trump ordered white nationalists to storm the Capitol and overturn the 2020 election to make him an Oompa-Loompa fascist dictator, Lindsey chastised Trump and said he was done with the man. After being booed in an airport, Lindsey turned around and crawled right back up Trump’s ass followed swiftly by Kevin McCarthy who had also chastised Trump.

When the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago for documents Trump stole from the federal government, Lindsey warned there would be “riots in the streets” if Trump is prosecuted and not allowed to break the law as he wishes.

In 2016, after Republicans said a president can’t fill a Supreme Court seat during an election year, a baseless argument to deny President Obama to fill the seat vacated by the death of Antonin Scalia, and so they could steal the seat for Donald Trump to fill, Lindsey Graham said that rule will apply during any election year, no matter who is the president at the time.

Lindsey said, “I want you to use my words against me. If there’s a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say Lindsey Graham said, ‘Let’s let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination.’ And you could use my words against me and you’d be absolutely right.”

After Ruth Bader Ginsburg died in 2020, an election year, Lindsey, then the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, rushed through the confirmation of Trump appointee Amy Coney Barrett in the span of two months. Lindsey didn’t stand by his word because he doesn’t have principles. He’s a liar.

Republicans lied about the rules on filling Supreme Court seats. People need to pay attention because lying is their nature. When they say abortion should be a state issue, they’re lying. But sometimes one of the idiots says the quiet part out loud.

Now, Lindsey Graham wants to crawl out of Donald Trump’s ass and into your uterus, which would be the first time he’s ever touched a woman.

Lindsey Graham is proposing a NATIONWIDE ban on abortion after 15 weeks. The rest of the GOP is hemming and hawing that it’s a state rights issue, and Congress shouldn’t have any say over abortion. But they’re lying. Lindsey just said the quiet part out loud which they don’t want mentioned before the midterm elections. I promise you this: Even if the GOP only takes the House, there will still be a lot of talk from them about banning abortion nationwide.

Take Virginia’s governor, Glenn Youngkin, for example. During his campaign for the governorship, he only wanted to talk about President Biden sending the FBI to attack parents who didn’t want teachers making their white kids feel glum by teaching about slavery. He dodged questions about abortion. After the Supreme Court gave states the right to ban abortion, Youngkin turned around faster than Lindsey can crawl up Trump’s ass with a “free mint juleps” sign over it, and said he’ll sign any abortion restriction law the General Assembly sends to his desk.

If Republicans take back Congress, it won’t just be Lindsey Graham trying to ban abortion nationwide. It will be the majority of them. They will ban abortion nationwide. Even the ones who are pro-choice, like Susan Collins, are dumb enough to be tricked into voting to ban abortion. If Republicans get their way, they’ll get rid of Obamacare, gay marriage, mixed-race marriage, voting rights, and maybe even bring back slavery and indentured servants. That’s their idea of making America great again.

If you really want to make America great again, vote and tell Lindsey Graham and all the anti-freedom and MAGA fascists Republicans to go to Hell.

Puttin’ Around in Putin’s Basement

Vladimir Putin believed Ukraine was going to launch a new offensive in the south, so he deployed troops from the northeast of Ukraine to defend the south…and Ukraine then launched a major offensive in the northeast. Ukraine played rope-a-dope and Putin was the dope.

Ukraine forces were able to recapture dozens of villages and towns in over 6,000 sq kilometers (2,300 sq miles) of what is formerly Russian-occupied territory. The only people left who probably still believe Putin is a war genius are those bought and paid for by Putin, like Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, Ted Rall, etc.

Now, even pro-Kremlin Russians are starting to question the war. We’ll see how long their health holds out.

This is Putin’s war. It’s obviously clear to everyone, especially to Russian soldiers fighting this war, that Vladimir Putin doesn’t care about anyone except Vladimir Putin. His own troops are describing themselves as “cannon fodder” for Putin. It’s not just Ukrainian elementary schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings Putin is willing to sacrifice, but his own people.

If this keeps up, Putin will be removed from power. He started this war over a lie (Nazis in Ukraine) and will keep lying to fight it. It’s hard to lie to his people that Russia’s winning when husbands, brothers, and sons aren’t coming home. Putin is getting so desperate that he has to purchase weapons from Iran and North Korea which violates all sorts of sanctions.

How far will Putin go to win this war and save face…and save his power? Will he go nuclear? Could that be assisted in any way by secrets provided by Donald Trump? it’s very plausible that Putin gained access to the classified documents Trump stole. We have to ask again: Why did Trump take these documents? Why? It’s a question Republicans should start asking, you know, if they were actual patriots and not sycophantic cultish butt boys.

Music Note: I listened to The Cars, but only songs sung by Ben Orr.
