Sportswashing 9/11

We’ve always known Donald Trump puts himself before anyone or anything else. Presidential oath be damned. Donald Trump only cares about Donald Trump.

Donald Trump will sell out everyone he knows. He will sell out his country. Sometimes he does it for power. Sometimes he does it for his ego. And sometimes, he does it for cash.

Trump tried to steal an election for power. Now, he’s selling out America and the victims of 9/11 for cash. Just how much are the Saudis paying Trump to host two of their golf tournaments?

The first Saudi golf tournament to be hosted by Trump is this weekend at his shitty golf course in New Jersey. The next will be at one of his shitty golf courses in Florida. There will be protests at both, but Trump doesn’t care to listen to the victims of 9/11. In fact, when asked about the Saudi connection to 9/11, Trump gaslighted, which in this case, is sportswashing.

Trump used to blame Saudi Arabia for 9/11. But yesterday, just 50 miles from the site of the World Trade Center, destroyed by two hijacked airplanes, of which 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi, Trump said, ““Nobody’s gotten to the bottom of 9/11, unfortunately. And they should have, as to the maniacs that did that horrible thing to our city, to the country, to the world. So nobody’s really been there, but I can tell you that there are a lot of really great people that are out here today, and we’re gonna have a lot of fun, and we’re going to celebrate.”

Trump is from New York City. He was in the city that day. Granted, he lied about being at 9/11 shortly after the attack to lend assistance, but he knows what happened.

Previously, Trump’s main focus from 9/11 was that the destruction of the twin towers might have made one of his buildings the tallest in Manhattan.

As for history lessons from Trump, he once talked about the airports during the American Revolution. He repeated Putin’s lie that Afghanistan invaded the Soviet Union in 1979, and not the other way around, which is the truth. And now, he’s lying for murderers and killers.

Donald Trump hasn’t just disrespected the survivors and families of 9/11. He’s trampling on our ideals and values. And just like every single golfer playing in LIV tournaments he’s ignoring that the money is coming from Mohammed bin Salman, the man who ordered the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi. It runs in the family because Jared also ignored that while taking $2 billion from MBS.

Remember when we used to say “never forget” about 9/11? Donald Trump isn’t just forgetting. He’s making shit up. There are a lot of crazy fucknut conspiracies from Qanon about 9/11. Marjorie Taylor Greene once said it was a hoax. Trump is a big fan of conspiracy theories. His entire election steal was based on them. Now, he’s giving his “credibility” to the Qnuts and their 9/11 conspiracy theories.

I hope at some point during this weekend’s tournament for Saudi blood money that a gopher crawls up inside Trump’s pants leg and bites him in his tiny orange goober. I hate to wish that on the gopher, but he’d at least get some hush money not to tell the world that Trump’s penis looks like Toad from Mario Kart.

How did I end this blog on that note?

My Pet Pence

On September 11, 2001, President George W. Bush was reading a book to school children in a Sarasota classroom when his Chief of Staff Andrew Card whispered into his big-ass ear that a second plane had flown into the World Trade Center. Bush continued with the reading of “The Pet Goat,” (often mistakenly referred to as “My Pet Goat” thanks to Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11), and sat motionless for seven minutes with a stupid confused blank expression on his face.

His supporters claimed then and continue to do so that Bush didn’t want to alarm the children. I still call bullshit on this. The guy could have calmly stood up and told the class, “Hey, something came up. Sorry, but I gotta go be the decider.”

Bush sat for seven minutes and did nothing while our nation was being attacked. That’s bad but not as bad as Donald Trump not doing anything for 187 minutes while our nation was being attacked. But, there are several differences between both incidents.

First, the goat book is right at W’s reading level. Donald Trump would never be able to read it. It would have to be read to him and there would have to be pop-up pictures of him to maintain his focus.

Bush didn’t do anything for seven minutes, not because he wanted the attack to continue unabated and was cheering the terrorists on, but because he simply didn’t know what to do. When he finally did do something, he invaded the wrong country.

George W. Bush was not a smart man, but unlike Trump, he’s not evil or racist. Are there people he doesn’t care about? Yes, but he’s more obtuse and easily manipulated by evil people. I think if I sat down for a beer and pretzels with George W, I would like him personally while hating him as president. I would never sit down with Donald Trump unless he was sitting in an electric chair.

George W. Bush knew our nation was going to be attacked yet he didn’t do much to prevent it, probably because didn’t take it seriously. Donald Trump also knew our nation was going to be attacked because he planned it.

After seven minutes, George W. stood up and did something to thwart further attacks and save American lives. He at least tried. Donald Trump did something during that 187 minutes and that was to give the attackers encouragement and support. He tweeted that Vice President Mike Pence “let us down,” further goading the attackers who brought nooses and started chanting “hang Mike Pence.”

According to reports, the “hang Mike Pence” chants greatly pleased Trump and it gave him the giggles.

Donald Trump sat in the dining room off the Oval Office throughout those 187 minutes watching Fox News cover the terrorist attack on the Capitol. Instead of calling the Pentagon, the Secretary of Defense, law enforcement, or even his Vice President to check on his safety, he called Republican Senators to encourage them to continue to block the certification of the election. He obviously felt the attackers were working in his interest.

He was told he needed to call the terrorists off. He refused for 187 minutes. Several staffers, including his daughter, asked him to call them off. Kevin McCarthy, leader of the House GOP pleaded with Trump to call them off. Trump said he couldn’t because they were Antifa, despite the fact he was watching Fox News which clearly showed the terrorists were white nationalist Trump goons. McCarthy told him they were NOT Antifa but Trump supporters. Trump quickly went from blaming Antifa to telling McCarthy that the terrorists care more about the election than he did.

Trump sent the tweet, encouraging his terrorists to attack Mike Pence, after being told by his staff he needed to call them off. Trump’s first tweet giving literal directions to the terrorists was for them not to attack law enforcement, who they had been attacking. That tweet didn’t tell them to stop their attack or not to hurt members of Congress. It was pretty much, “Hey, love what you’re doing. Keep it up, but try not to hurt the cops…just everyone else. Don’t worry about Josh too much because he already hightailed it. MAGA!”

Trump always knew the attack was happening. He knew they were his people. Hell, he wanted to go to the Capitol with them. Why would he want to go to the Capitol with an angry Antifa mob? He knew who they were because he told them days before to be there (It’s gonna be “wild”). He held a rally before their attack. He argued for metal detectors to be removed so his terrorists could bring their weapons into the rally. He told them to march to the Capitol. He told them to “fight like hell” or “they wouldn’t have a country anymore.” He told them that Democrats and Rinos were evil, their enemy, and taking something away from them.

George W. Bush was just a moron who didn’t know what to do for seven minutes. Donald Trump is an evil orange fuck who sent racist terrorists to attack Congress and install him as a dictator.

Donald Trump has less in common with George W. Bush and more in common with Osama bin Laden.

Palooka Trump

I have already posted this cartoon on Facebook and immediately, I got the question, “Is this a thing?”. Unfortunately, or thank the gods, it is a thing.

Donald Trump and his idiot underling namesake, Donald Trump Jr, will be doing ringside play-by-play commentary in Hollywood, Florida for a boxing match between Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort. These two guys are way out of their prime, out of shape, over the hill, out of their depth, in over their heads, and will probably only humiliate themselves and shouldn’t be anywhere near a boxing ring. The two boxers are probably too old for this too.

This fight will be on a boxing streaming platform (I’m not telling you where) and if you find it, it’ll cost you $49.99, which would be about two and a half orders of Trump straws.

As I said, these boxers are old. Holyfield is 58 and his opponent, Vitor, is old for for boxing too at 44, but a 14 year age difference between boxers isn’t a real competition. This is a joke. But nobody’s going to purchase this event to watch two old guys fight. They’re going to purchase this to watch two dumbasses bark for what will probably be two rounds of old guys punching. If you really wanted to watch two old guys slap each other silly, you could get that on a public bus for $1.25. Bonus: One or both of the old guys might be racist so you get the entire Trump package right there.

But other than praising Confederate generals and claiming their statues could have defeated the Taliban, this is the best way for Trump to put the attention back on him on 9/11.

What? 9/11? Yes, apparently, on the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack that hit the Pentagon, destroyed the World Trade Center, and killed nearly 3,000 people, folks might be talking about something other than Donald Trump and his big stupid orange ass. Donald and Donald doing play-by-play of a geezer fight might just fix that and divert the attention back on Trump and Trump.

Those loser presidents, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden, will probably be observing the anniversary in some sort of solemn manner with dignity. Suckers. If they were smart, they’d be calling play-by-play for a mud wrestling match between Grimace the shake monster and Mayor McCheese and charge twenty bucks to see it on YouTube.

If another other former president was going to call a boxing match on 9/11, they’d be vilified on Fox News. But Trump doing it is exactly what MAGAt nation wants. Do you remember when Reagan was criticized for making paid speeches after his presidency, or when Clinton was criticized for doing the same thing? People are still screaming at Barack Obama for tan suits, mustard on burgers, and mom jeans. But charging to ramble word salads at a geezer fight is OK…if you’re Donald Trump. I mean, it’s not like anyone expects anything dignified from Trump anyway, or Coke Jr…I mean, Don Jr.

We don’t know how much Trump is being paid for this event, but reportedly, he’s bragged to friend that the amount is “obscene.” He’s also getting the use of the pay-per-view company’s private jet. I wouldn’t feel safe flying on a Trump plane either.

I have another not-so-bold prediction: In the future, Donald Trump will further reduce himself and do a wrestling event. He’ll probably be on some pay-per-view where he’s shaving Vince McMahon’s head. What? He already did that?

OK. Next prediction: Trump starts doing commercials with the General and Shaq, or with Shaq and Papa John’s (they fired their last racist), or Shaq and toner cartridges (every color except black and brown), or Shaq and home security, or Shaq and Icy Hot, or Shaq and Gold Bond, or Shaq and…you get the idea.

Or better yet, Trump joins Insane Clown Posse and raps about beating Biden’s ass. I mean, he’s already done half of that. No, not the beating. Just the bragging. Trump used this boxing event to speculate on him boxing someone and said, “I think probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden because I think he’d go down very, very quickly.”

When the election was called for President Biden, he jogged to the podium to make his acceptance speech. The only thing that jogs on Trump are his man boobs while he’s breathing. I seriously doubt Trump would be any contest for President Biden as hes already got his ass kicked by him once before. Also, to get into the ring, there might be stairs.

Sketchy Senate Stock Sales

Insider trading is trading in the stock market on confidential information. It’s not just frowned upon or a no-no. It’s illegal.  It’s especially worse when done by elected officials because they’re supposed to use classified information to help the country, not help themselves.

Several senators are being accused of insider trading after dumping stocks before the coronavirus pandemic. Each senator’s defense has been, “I didn’t do it while I was doing it.” Republican Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina is the worst offender.

Burr dumped holdings worth between $628,000 and $1.7 million in 33 separate transactions on February  13, around the same time he, as Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, was receiving daily briefings on the coronavirus, and after he publicly projected, in an Op-Ed for Fox News, confidence in the economy and the nation’s response to the virus. Nothing to worry about folks as he rushes to the bank to withdraw all his money. What Burr did was basically sell everything he owned. He sold, sold, sold, and didn’t buy any stocks to replace them.

Burr has denied any wrongdoing and stated he based his decisions on public news reports. How does that work? You pretend to forget what you learned from classified briefings and only retain what Wolf Blitzer told you? Keep in mind, Burr is a Republican so he totally expects people to believe grade-A bullshit.

Burr has asked the Senate Ethics Committee to conduct a review of the transaction to prove his innocence. Maybe before he unloaded a bunch of stocks right after being briefed on an incoming pandemic, he should have asked himself, “Is this something that would be investigated?”

Kelly Loeffler is a Republican senator from Georgia. She sold off between $1.3 million and $3.1 million worth of stock she owned with her husband, Jeffrey Sprecher, who just so happens to be chair of the New York Stock Exchange. She started selling her shit the same day, January 24, the Senate Health Committee, of which she’s a member of, hosted briefing on the coronavirus. Loeffler made 29 equities transactions, 27 were sales. One of her two purchases was a company called Citrix, which makes teleworking software, a product now in high demand. Hmmm….a senator who’s married to the Chair of the New Stock Exchange dumping stocks after classified briefings…sure. Nothing smells here.

Loeffler claims all stock decisions are not made by her or her husband, but by a third party, which many say is a blind trust. There really isn’t anything to stop someone who has a blind trust from interjecting themselves to make decisions. When politicians says they have a blind trust, all they have is their word that they’re not involved. Donald Trump’s “blind trust” is operated by his two idiot sons. If you believe Donald Trump doesn’t receive updates or still makes business decisions, then I have a bankrupted Atlantic City casino I’d like to sell you.

Oklahoma Republican Senator Jim Inhofe, who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, sold $750,000 worth of stock. He said it was related to a “continuing divestiture plan.” Whatever.

California Democrat Senator Diane Feinstein, who is the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee, sold off millions in stocks. She said all those decisions were made by her husband without her input.

It’s hard to pin insider trading on members of Congress, but it does happen. Recently, Republican Chris Collins, who was a congressman from New York, was sentenced to 23 months for insider trading.

Burr’s actions have infuriated Democrats and Republicans. Tucker Carlson has demanded his resignation, apparently confident that a Republican would win his seat in a special election in North Carolina. Tucker’s motives aren’t really that pure. He’s still upset that Burr signed off on a subpoena for Donald Trump Jr. to testify about that Trump Tower meeting with Russians. But, despite Tucker believing Burr should resign, Burr should resign.

Even if there’s nothing shady going on here, it doesn’t look good for senators to be dumping stocks right before a pandemic hits, causing a recession and forcing millions to lose their jobs. And to fully understand it better, you need to see what was sold off, what was bought, and the timing. Are Senators dumping stock in cruise lines and hotels? Are they making purchases in medicine and communication? And while we’re on the subject, is Donald Trump going to get a bailout for his bedbug hotels?

A much simpler way to deal with members of Congress and stocks is to pass legislation Senator Elizabeth Warren introduced in 2018 that would prohibit them from owning individual stocks. In a speech at the time, Warren said, “They can put their savings in conflict-free investments like mutual funds, or they can pick a different line of work.”

Would that pass? Hell no. We have a Senate run by Republicans who won’t demand that Donald Trump sell off his businesses. Remember, Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm when he became president. Despite it being illegal to profit from the office, the Senate and the Justice Department refuse to stop Donald Trump from violating the Constitution’s emoluments clause. Donald Trump isn’t just taking money from foreign governments on the sly, he announced plans to do so with his Miami resort for the G7 Summit before backing off after much criticism.

Trump’s Doral club being the best location for an international summit of world leaders is about as much of a coincidence as these senators selling stocks after classified briefings.

I agree with Senator Warren that they should all find a different line of work. I’m thinking as workers in a prison cafeteria.

Taliban Trumps Trump

I told several people, copy editors, people who watch my videos, and the girlfriend, that I was taking today off. I’m way too far ahead with my cartoons. Visit my work on GoComics and you’ll see the cartons are at least seven days behind this website (but the comments there are great). But after telling Amanda, the girlfriend, that I had an idea I really wanted to draw, she told me that I had to do it or it’d bother me all day. I hadn’t even told her the idea yet. After it was roughed out and I showed it to her, the reaction was a gritted teeth grimace. That’s when I knew I had to finish it.

Ronald Reagan said the United States does not negotiate with terrorists. The truth is, yes we do. Reagan’s own administration made illegal deals with terrorists and their sponsors. His administration even provided arms to Iran which I’m sure were never used against Israel. Despite this, Republicans continue to worship at his altar and demand their candidates live up to Reagan’s ideals, or at least they used to.

Yesterday, Donald Trump tweeted that he was canceling planned peace talks at Camp David with the Taliban and the president of Afghanistan over a car bombing in Kabul that killed one American and 11 others. Trump was trying to give the impression he was standing tough and refusing to negotiate with terrorists who have refused to stop committing violence.

The truth is, the United States has been in a yearlong negotiation with the Taliban and was near an agreement that would see a beginning to U.S. troops being pulled out of Afghanistan, yet the terrorist organization has never promised to stop fighting during negotiations. Americans have been killed by the Taliban during these talks before the Kabul car bombing.

So, why the Trump cancelation? The truth is, the Taliban has been balking at how the deal would be finalized and announced. It didn’t seem that talks at Camp David were going to work out, so Trump was trying to get ahead. Also, it may not have played well hosting the Taliban on U.S. soil mere days before the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attack by al Qaida. Remember, the Taliban was the government in charge that allowed al Qaida to operate on their soil and refused to give them up after their attack on the U.S.

Donald Trump, who loves photo ops that illustrate his supposed great negotiating skills would have been seen mugging for the camera with terrorists on 9/11.

Was it a negotiating strategy for Trump to cancel the talks and expose a secret through a tweet? Or, was it Trump being an idiot once again?

There does need to be a peace agreement with the Taliban. There is no need to accommodate them on U.S soil to do this. In fact, the Taliban wasn’t eager to come to the U.S. For some reason, they don’t trust Donald Trump.

Unfortunately, any deal made by Donald Trump will undoubtedly favor the Taliban.

Obsessing On Omar

Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar immigrated to the United States in 1992 when she was 12-years-old and settled in Virginia before moving to Minnesota in 1995. While a student in Virginia, she was picked on by other students for wearing a hijab, recalling classmates sticking gum on it, pushing her down stairs, and jumping her when changing for gym class. Her father said, “They are doing something to you because they feel threatened in some way by your existence.”

While I’m sure she felt bullied and terrorized, she didn’t criticize her father for describing their actions as “something.” This week, Trump and Republicans are going after her and inspiring death threats against her for her use of “something.”

Omar is being attacked for saying “some people did something” when commenting that all Muslims should not be held responsible for the acts of extremists during 9/11. Instead of focusing on her points or the context of her statements, Republicans have vilified her. They have even used 9/11 politically while attacking her for talking about 9/11 politically. There are two things Republicans don’t get, vaccines and irony.

Donald Trump tweeted a video that stitched together clips of Omar and the falling Twin Towers. Since then, she was received anti-Muslim insults and death threats from his racist Islamophobic supporters.

Granted, Omar could put her thoughts into words a lot better, but there’s no reason for the slander, misrepresentation, and hatred. For her criticism in the past on Israeli policy toward Palestinians and a Jewish Lobbying group, she has been vilified.

Trump supporter, white nationalist, and wannabe terrorist Christopher Hasson had her on his hit list that included multiple politicians and journalists.

The FBI investigated graffiti found in a Minnesota gas station calling for her assassination.

At a Republican event in West Virginia, someone made a poster and flyers connecting Omar to 9/11. It took a day for that state’s Republicans to condemn the poster.

Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro questioned Omar’s loyalty to the United States because she wears a hijab. However, it was nice that Fox News took a three-minute break from covering Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Trump supporters have started a conspiracy theory that she married her brother so he could become a U.S. citizen. For the record, if you’re an immigrant and a sibling is a U.S. citizen, you are eligible to apply for permanent residency status (and later become a naturalized citizen). You would not have to double-down and marry. C’mon, fucknuts. Put a little research into your bullshit.

Last week, another wannabe terrorist called her office and said, “I’ll put a bullet in her fucking skull.”

In addition to Trump’s tweet of the World Trade Center burning in context to Omar’s statement, The New York Post ran a front page picture of the flaming WTC with the headline, “Here’s your something.”

While visiting Minnesota, Trump was informed by a reporter about the threats against Omar after his hate tweet and asked if he regretted it. Of course, he doesn’t. Trump said, “No, not at all.”

He then went full-on dog whistle and said, “Look, she’s been very disrespectful to this country. She’s been very disrespectful, frankly, to Israel. She is somebody that doesn’t really understand life, real life. What it’s all about. It’s unfortunate. She’s got a way about her that’s very, very bad, I think, for our country. I think she’s extremely unpatriotic and extremely disrespectful to our country.”

Donald Trump, who was receiving millions of dollars from his parents since birth, attended boarding schools, dodged the draft, and lives in a Manhattan penthouse is saying someone who fled war and spent four years in a refugee camp “doesn’t really understand life.”

Trump is an Islamophobe and so are his supporters. As a candidate, he didn’t specify nations he’d impose a travel ban on. He called for a Muslim ban. He called for surveillance of mosques. In attacking Omar, he’s going after three of his favorite hates, Muslim, brown, and female. All three are things that scare him.

People who have been targets of Trump’s tirades have been targetted in violent methods by his supporters. Trump continues making the attacks because Donald Trump doesn’t care about anything except Donald Trump. He doesn’t care if people are hurt or if the nation burns. Trump only does Trump.

When Omar was a preteen, her father told her that those who hate her are “threatened in some way by your existence.” As an adult, they’re still threatened by her existence. Trump is using that fear to rile up his base of shitweasels.

They are threatened by her very existence. What I’m afraid of is that with Trump’s help, they’ll threaten her existence.

Play Nice With Bad Guys

After 9/11, President George W. Bush didn’t fly to Europe to quarrel with our allies and accuse them of not contributing enough to their defense. He didn’t go to England and tell a British tabloid that Tony Blair’s rival would make a great Prime Minister. He didn’t go to Helsinki and hold a summit, including a two-hour private chat, with the leader of the Taliban. He didn’t invite Osama bin Laden to the White House. He didn’t dispute our intelligence blaming the attack on al-Qaeda and instead say it could be other people, maybe China, or a 400-pound guy on a bed in New Jersey. He didn’t lavish praise on bin Laden while accusing the press of being the real enemy. He didn’t call the European Union a foe of the United States while calling the Taliban a competitor. He didn’t congratulate bin Laden on winning reelection to the presidency of al-Qaeda or lobby for him to be added to the G-7. He didn’t listen to any crazy ideas from bin Laden about allowing him to interrogate Americans in Afghanistan.

What George W. Bush did was climb on top of a pile of rubble that was once the World Trade Center and promise that the people responsible would be hearing from us very soon. He rallied the American people and NATO. Then we attacked the people responsible.

Bush made a lot of mistakes after that, like attacking the wrong nation a couple of years later, but he didn’t placate and massage the feelings of the guy responsible for attacking our nation.

We also changed how we do a lot of things. For starters, you can’t take box cutters and pocket knives on commercial flights anymore. You can’t even walk through security at an airport with your shoes on. What are we doing to prevent further attacks on our electoral process from Russia? Nothing.

Last week, House Republicans voted AGAINST renewing funding for election security to combat efforts by foreign powers to meddle in our elections. Donald Trump has not directed the National Security Agency to do anything to prevent Russia from attacking our elections in the future. It took Trump five months to enact sanctions against Russia after they were passed by Congress.

Of course, we shouldn’t go to war with Russia over election meddling. But, we shouldn’t be sitting around with our guard down. We should enact measures to prevent future attacks. We shouldn’t be awarding Vladimir Putin with high praise and summits. We shouldn’t be inviting him to the White House.

Russia attacked our nation. They are not our friends. Trump can’t even bring himself to criticize Putin, instead, wishing for his dictatorial powers.

If Trump was president in 2001, we would have lost further buildings, airplanes, and American lives because he doesn’t know who the bad guys are. He can’t, and refuses to recognize an attack on our nation. He would have encouraged them to attack us again.

We need to treat Russia as a foe who has attacked the United States. In fact, we should start treating Donald Trump the exact same way.

Another Saudi Threat

Congress may pass a bill that really upsets Saudi Arabia. The bill is being referred to as the 9/11 bill and what it does is open protections sovereign nations have from being sued in U.S. courts. This means if someone pulls up a link between 9/11 and the government of Saudi Arabia then perhaps they can sue the monarchy.

That’s scary stuff to Saudi Arabia even though there has never been any connection made between that government and the terrorists or their actions on September 11, 2001.

Saudi Arabia is threatening to pull out $750 billion in treasury securities and other assets before they can be frozen in U.S. courts. Scary? Not really. They would have to sell all those assets and move them out of U.S. dollars. That’s a lot to move.

I think the larger question here, are we sure we have all the answers regarding Saudi Arabia and 9/11? I don’t think the Saudi kingdom was in on the plot, but did they create an environment that influenced the hijackers? Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudi citizens. Sure a lot of people can go bad. Americans and Europeans are joining ISIS. But 15 out of 19 is quite a number. The mastermind and financier of 9/11, Osama bin Laden was a Saudi.

The curriculum of a Saudi education includes hatred for “unbelievers.” There are calls for death to Jews, Christians, and Holy war. So you know if a gun manufacturer can be blamed for gun deaths, and a tobacco company’s advertising blamed for encouraging people to acquire cancer, Saudi Arabia may be on the hook for breeding an attack on U.S. soil.

I think $750 billion should cover it.

Safer With Trump?

I don’t think it’s fair to blame George W. Bush for 9/11. It’s not that I don’t think he could or couldn’t have prevented the terrorist attack. We don’t know if it could have been prevented. Bush should have paid more attention to reports on an impending attack, but we don’t know that if he did that it wouldn’t have still happened.

Now Donald Trump says if he had been president he would have prevented 9/11. Presidents have more information than you or I or Donald Trump. So it’s kind of something a jerk would say. Kinda like Ben Carson saying he would have rushed a shooter, had he been at a mass shooting.

I don’t have much faith Trump could have prevented 9/11. He couldn’t stop Rosie O’Donnell. But he can protect us from one potential tragedy. Drop out, Donald, so we don’t have to suffer a Trump presidency.

And if you’re into anything on that list, then you suck.
