Bark

This is a cartoon I drew for The Herald-Dispatch in Huntington, West Virginia.  

In West Virginia congressional candidates incumbent Democrat Nick Rahall and Republican challenger Evan Jenkins and U.S. Senate candidates Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito (Rep) and Secretary of State Natalie Tennant (D) are all trying to position themselves as being very pro-coal in contrast with the Obama EPA.  So I came up with this. 

Funny thing is:  I got the idea on a day my Beagle wouldn’t stop barking.  Go figure.
