Jim Jordan

Wiener Whistleblowers

Do you take mustard on your frazzledrip?

Jim Jordan’s “whistleblowers” aren’t whistleblowers. As with most things that come from Jim “Gym” Jordan, his “whistleblower” hearings are utter and complete bullshit.

Jordan is the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and the select subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. It’s a bullshit committee intended to push the false narrative that punishing conservartives for crimes they commit is weaponization of the Justice Department and FBI. Jordan and Republicans are lying to the public that prosecuting white nationalist terrorists who tried to overturn a free and fair election and install an unelected tiny-fingered racist Oompa-Loompa dictator is a deep-state conspiracy, along with prosecuting Trump for all his lawbreaking.

The committee held a hearing last Thursday where Jordan promised to bring in three FBI “whistleblowers” who would testify that the FBI is weaponized against Republicans that they each lost their security clearance because of their “whistleblowing.” Naturally, all of this is bullshit.

None of these so-called “whistlesblowers” lost their clearances for speaking out and none of them are technically whistleblowers. The only thing they’re blowing is Jim Jordan, who spends all his time blowing Donald Trump.

The night before the hearing, Christopher Dunham, acting assistant director of the FBI, sent Jordan a letter stating that the so-called “whistleblowers” had their security clearances revoked, pending appeal, for a number of reasons, including questions about their allegiance, reported criminal conduct, personal misconduct and how sensitive information was handled. These “whistleblowers” were debunked before Jim-Gym’s hearing even began.

Without addressing the details in the letter, Jordan’s only comment on it during the hearing was, “It doesn’t surprise me that the FBI puts out this letter the night before we’re going to have a hearing.” It doesnt’ surprise me that Jim Jordan’s bullshit got shot down…again. How dare the FBI whistleblow on Jim “Gym” Jordan’s “whistleblowers.”

Jordan continued with his plans to parade his so-called “whistleblowers,” two current FBI employees and one former, who each claim they lost their clearances after expressing concerns about the investigation of the January 6 insurrection.

None of these witnesses have been granted the status of whistleblower. To be officially designated whistleblowers, FBI employees must follow strict procedures which none of these have done. Real whistleblowers must also legitimately attempt to make what’s known as a protected disclosure of serious misconduct or criminal wrongdoing — usually described as waste, fraud or abuse. None of these witnesses have done so and have only shared their opinions and conspiracy theories. The only criminal behavior exposed here may belong to the so-called “whistleblowers.”

FBI employee Marcus Allen testified Thursday that he lost his clearance in part because he was simply trying to urge his colleagues to be careful with how they investigated January 6. But Dunham’s letter says Allen was found to have obstructed the investigation of a January 6 suspect. The letter says Allen told an agent that one of the suspects under investigation had no connection to terrorism, despite the agency’s finding that the suspect had assaulted a Capitol Police officer during the riot. The cased was closed until another agent discovered that the suspect was indeed connected to terrorism.

Allen is also accused of repeatedly espousing conspiracy theories, including that the U.S. government participated in the January 6 violence to his coworkers. He used his FBI email account to send links to anti-government conspiracy sites to his colleagues.

Former special Agent Stephen Friend testified that he lost his clearance as a form of retaliation for his beliefs that the U.S. government participated in the January 6 insurrection. But, the FBI says he lost his clearance for refusing to participate in the arrest of a member of the Three Percenters, one of the white nationalist terrorist groups that participated in the insurrection. The FBI knew the subject was armed with an assault rifle, had evidence that he’d chemically sprayed officers at the U.S. Capitol, and appeared in photos taken that day dressed in full tactical gear and helmet. But Friend believed an arrest by a SWAT team was too aggressive, and refused to take part. He refused to do his job.

Friend entered FBI office space after hours and downloaded sensitive documents onto an unapproved flash drive, secretly recorded his supervisors, and refused to take remedial security awareness training as requested. Since his departure from the FBI, he’s given interviews to RT, a Russia government-owned anti-American propaganda ouetlet.

Friend was also given $5,000 by corrupt Trump associate and serial lying bug-eyed conspiracy theorist goon Kash Patel who also got him a job at a pro-Trump anti-Democratic right-wing goon think tank.

FBI employee Brett Gloss, who did not testify during the hearing, had his security clearance revoked based on a concern for his “allegiance to the United States,” his “personal conduct,” and his “criminal conduct.” This so-called whistleblower took part in the insurrection on Jan. 6. He breached Capitol security during the attack and criminally trespassed into the restricted zone. He expressed support for the criminal actions of protesters inside the Capitol and lied to investigators about his whereabouts and what he witnessed. He also allegedly betrayed his colleagues by providing photos of FBI agents to someone known to publicly post FBI information that may lead to violence against FBI personnel.

Jim “Gym” Jordan has also refused to share written testimony from one of the fake whistleblowers, which violates House rules. Jordan argued that not all House members are entitled to testimony from a whistleblower, omitting that his witnesses are NOT whistleblowers. He also said the Democratic members of the committee couldn’t see the testimony because the “whistleblower” didn’t want them to see it. Democratic member Dan Goldman pointed out that the ‘”whistleblower’ doesn’t make committee rules.”

These hearings are bullshit where nothing is based on facts and allegations are presented as evidence. Just like the Durham Report, Republicans don’t have to read it, they just have to know that, Aha!…there’s a report. And just like with Hunter Biden’s laptop, none of these witnesses can reveal any violations or broken laws.

Jim Jordan believes he’s a hot dog, but he’s just a limp cold wiener. Quite frankly (see what I did there?), he and his so-called whistleblowers need to be retired with the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.

Serving Jordan

In 2021, there were 205 Republican members of Congress and Ohio’s Jim Jordan was ranked as the 202nd most effective Republican at passing legislation. Jim Jordan is one of the worst representatives “serving” this nation in Congress. And since he refuses to serve his district by doing the job he was elected to do, he just got served.

Jim Jordan engages in political bullying and gaslighting more than he legislates. You never hear Jordan talk about actual legislation. What he does is run interference for the Republican Party and Donald Trump while attacking their political opponents. While questioning Hillary Clinton during the Benghazi hearings (which resulted in a bunch of nothing), Jordan argued that no one had the right to withhold information from Congress. Years later, he withheld information from Congress by refusing to cooperate with the committee investigating the white nationalist terrorist attack to overturn the 2020 election and make Donald Trump Hair GropenFuhrer.

Now after refusing to cooperate with an investigation over terrorism, Jordan is chairing other investigations. One of them is into Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg who’s currently prosecuting Donald Trump over the secret hush money payments to silence porn star Stormy Daniels over their Las Vegas boinking. In fact, Jim Jordan announced the investigation before there was an indictment.

Jordan claims the investigations into Trump are political while he runs political interference. He plans to conduct a congressional hearing next week in Manhattan about crime in New York City, as a way to attack Bragg and accuse him of ignoring “real crimes” to go after Trump.

Democratic Representative Dan Goldman of New York said, “Instead of focusing on improving the lives of the American people, Jim Jordan has decided to come to my district at the behest of Donald Trump to continue to weaponize Congress to obstruct an ongoing, non-federal criminal prosecution. If Jordan truly cared about public safety, he’d be having a field hearing in Nashville, Tennessee, or Louisville, Kentucky, where the most recent of the daily mass shootings have killed more innocent Americans.”

While Jordan is accusing Bragg of ignoring his city, Jim Jordan is ignoring his district and state. Here’s a fun fact: Manhattan is NOT in Ohio. Did Jim Jordan run for his seat with a message on tackling crime in Manhattan?

Jordan’s little circus is scheduled for Monday in Manhattan and is titled, “Victims of Violent Crime in Manhattan.” There should be a hearing by Democrats in Jordan’s Ohio district titled, “Victims of Negligent Douche-Nozzle Congressmen with Ridiculous Punchable Faces.”

Jordan’s committee says that Monday’s hearing will “examine how Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s pro-crime, anti-victim policies have led to an increase in violent crime and a dangerous community for New York City residents.” Actually, there’s a decrease in violent crime in New York City, but since this is Jordan’s committee, facts are not allowed.

Before the Trump indictment, Jordan subpoenaed a former prosecutor who worked on the Trump investigation, asked another employee to turn over personal emails, and has demanded that Bragg go before Congress and give Jordan all the dirt he has on Trump (wouldn’t that be handy?). Can we expect Jordan to start an investigation on the investigation in Georgia?

Now, Bragg has sued Jordan.

Bragg’s suit says Jordan’s investigation is a “transparent campaign to intimidate and attack.”

The suit filed in federal court in New York City states, “Congress has no power to supervise state criminal prosecutions. Nor does Congress have the power to serve subpoenas for the personal aggrandizement of the investigators or to punish those investigated.”

It also says, “The charges the District Attorney filed against Mr. Trump were approved by citizens of New York.” Jim Jordan better lock the doors to his hearing in Manhattan so Manhattanites don’t get in because most of them want to see Trump prosecuted.

It further states, “Rather than allowing the criminal process to proceed in the ordinary course, Chairman Jordan and the Committee are participating in a campaign of intimidation, retaliation, and obstruction.”

Jordan tweeted, “First, they indict a president for no crime. Then, they sue to block congressional oversight when we ask questions about the federal funds they say they used to do it.” Jordan’s tweet proved his sham investigation is totally political by stating that Trump was indicted for “no crime.” How does Jordan know? He’s not a lawyer and the case hasn’t been tried yet. Falsifying business records is a crime and one that’s been prosecuted a lot in Manhattan. Maybe Jordan’s little hearing can take a look at that fact.

Jim Jordan is not just a terrible representative. He doesn’t just suck at his job. He’s a horrible vile human being. He’s a liar who looks the other way while people are being sexually assaulted. He helped an insurrection try to destroy our democracy then refused to cooperate with an investigation, and now demands others to cooperate with his sham political investigations. He’s a goon who tried to throw out the Electoral College votes from 2020. He’s a sycophant who defends criminals while howling about crime in New York City.

What I want to know is, will Jim Jordan get shouted out of Manhattan faster than Marjorie Taylor Greene got out shouted off the island last week?

Laptop Strikes Again

Yes, I dropped this joke in a blog two days ago, and I liked it. I was worried another cartoonist would steal it, but I posted it on a Friday and most cartoonists don’t work weekends, especially holiday weekends.

Do not expect the Republican-controlled House to accomplish much, if anything, for the next two years. You can’t take a party seriously when they give the chair of a committee to a lying asswipe goon like Jim Jordan whose face is still embedded between the orange buttcheeks of Donald Trump. This is a guy who helped Donald Trump commit sedition and a coup attempt and got caught lying his treasonous balls off about it, and now he’s the one who’s going to try to get to the bottom of a supposed crime? As Sarah Marshall said in the excellent movie, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” “Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.”

You also can’t take these people seriously when goons like high-school dropout Lauren Boebert, prom-dating Matt Gaetz, and white nationalist terrorist enthusiast Marjorie Taylor Greene are among its members who the party circles the wagons around to protect.

And, you can’t take them seriously when they don’t do anything about incoming freshman liar George Santos. Remember, the Democrats forced out Al Franken for a decades-old joke.

Republicans are not good at multitasking. They can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. The likes of each of those mentioned above have made it clear that they intend to spend the next two years using their majority to lie, gaslight, and smear their political enemies over a conspiracy theory.

Seriously, the only person who’s going to accomplish anything with a GOP majority for the next two years is, well…me.

Happy new year.

Read The Room

One thing that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the White House and address to a joint session of Congress did yesterday was help the anti-democratic pro-Putin fascists expose themselves.

Sure, they’ve been doing this for a while, but we got to see seven Republicans sit on their hands for the majority of Zelensky’s speech yesterday. These GOP goons were Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, Andrew Clyde, Diana Harshbarger, Warren Davidson, and Michael Cloud. What did they disagree with about Zelensky’s pro-democracy speech?

The truth is, they don’t want to support someone who opposes Putin, but they don’t want to come out directly and praise Putin, except for Trump, who called Putin a “genius” for his invasion of Ukraine. What they try to do is disguise it.

Kevin McCarthy tried to disguise it by pretending to be a fiscal conservative, which he’s not. He said after the GOP takes over the House in the next session, that there will be no more “blank checks” for Ukraine. Lauren Boebert howled about sending $47 billion to Ukraine and attacked Mitch McConnell for his support. The $47 billion is the Republican’s number, and not all of it is going to Ukraine.

Donald Trump Jr, who inherited everything he has, attacked President Zelensky and called him a “welfare queen.” He probably would have said the same thing if he was around when we were sending military support to the UK and Winston Churchill to fight Hitler and the Nazis.

A pro-Putin fascist with a bought blue checkmark tweeted conspiracy theories at me this morning that was created by Putin. He also accused Zelensky of being a “warmonger” even though it was Russia that invaded Ukraine, not the other way around.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has consistently opposed supporting Ukraine stating, “It’s not our responsibility to give Zelensky and the Ukrainian people false hope about a war they cannot win,” although they are winning. She also claimed that Democrats care more about Ukraine’s border than our southern border with Mexico as if Mexicans are bombing U.S. churches, schools, and daycare centers.

Ted Rall, an American cartoonist who “draws” for Putin, claims Ukraine is corrupt while ignoring Russian corruption and that nation’s fascism. He also spreads lies that President Biden is taking bribes, which Republicans also spread.

Another pro-Putin cartoonist, Gary McCoy, posted outrage on Facebook that we’re sending $44 billion to Ukraine while antibiotics are being rationed at Walgreens. Somehow in the MAGAt mind, there’s a correlation there.

Other MAGAts are crying that our supply of weapons is dwindling because we’re sending it all to Ukraine. We spend over $800 billion a year on our military so I think we’re going to be OK. We have warehouses and stockpiles of military supplies that will never be used. Others cry that this is padding the pockets of the military-industrial complex. Again, we spend over $800 billion a year. Now you’re concerned about enriching the industry that manufactures weapons?

And then there’s the complaint that the money we send to Ukraine isn’t being accounted for. I don’t know where this one comes from because from all appearances, it seems Ukraine is putting it to great use, proven by the fact Russia hasn’t won the war and Ukraine is actually retaking territory. For me, watching Russia retreat is our audit.

Here’s the thing, goons: Sending money to Ukraine to fight Russia is money well spent. Russia is our enemy and we’re not fighting them. We’re not sending troops. Instead, Ukraine is inflicting a beating on our greatest enemy and weakening it for future conflicts. Russia is a nation that continues to attack us in an attempt to destroy our democracy. They worked to put a pro-fascist racist goon into the White House. They have it coming. I don’t know if $47 billion is enough.

I’m going to continue to support Ukraine because supporting its war against Russia is pro-America. Those who support Putin and Russia are anti-American. They are the enemies of this nation and democracy.

I stand with Ukraine. Go, Ukraine!

Freaks Come Out In 2023

Not only will Republicans hold up President Biden’s agenda if they retake the House, but they’ll work to defund Social Security and Medicare, hold the government hostage by shutting down the government during the next debt-ceiling deadline, and work to give Donald Trump more tax cuts. Additionally, they’re going to conduct a bunch of bullshit investigations that they’re going to have to make a lot of shit up for. The entire GOP agenda is about inflicting revenge on the Democrats for trying to protect the nation from a corrupt “president” and his white nationalist terrorist goons.

So what kind of shit will Republicans investigate?

They’re going to investigate Hunter Biden and his laptop. If the GOP retakes the House, James Comer will likely be the chair of the House Oversight and Reform Committee and he’s promising to investigate the Bidens’ overseas business activities. Comer wants to get a hold of financial records from banks and the Treasury Department to prove that the president is compromised by his son’s business dealings, even though there is zero proof of any corruption from President Biden.

Comer said, “I think that’ll go a long way towards helping us be able to uncover some questions that the American people have about the ethics, and whether or not the Biden administration is truly compromised by Hunter’s shady business dealings.” What is corrupt is helping Donald Trump hide his business records and taxes all while he was bilking the U.S. government during his “presidency” while still making money from foreign governments, but I’m sure none of that compromised him. There’s also no interest from Republicans to find out why Saudi Arabia felt the need to give Jared Kushner $2 billion as soon as he left the White House.

Jim Jordan will likely chair the House Judiciary Committee and he plans to go after the Justice Department and FBI for raiding Mar-a-Lago. Jordan said, “The No. 1 thing is this weaponization of the DOJ against the American people.” Yeah, Donald Trump, a billionaire who shits in gold toilets, is NOT the American people. But how dare the FBI go after a billionaire for stealing classified documents. Maybe Jordan can conduct an investigation into why Trump wanted these documents in the basement of his country club, and why he lied about them for over a year. Jim Jordan also chaired some of the many Benghazi investigations which implicated nobody.

Jordan claims his office has received information from more than a dozen whistleblowers who came forward with allegations of FBI bias against conservatives, including the agency retaliating against employees with conservative views. Don’t hold your breath. You can expect this investigation to go after Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Jim Jordan shouldn’t be investigating anything when he’s the one who should be investigated over a myriad of issues. This guy can’t even come clean about how many times and when he talked to Trump on January 6.

Democrats created a select Oversight subcommittee investigating the coronavirus, and Republicans plan to keep the committee active…and use it to go after Dr. Anthony Fauci while accusing him of creating the virus. Seriously.

Republicans plan to use the House Foreign Affairs Committee to investigate the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan but probably won’t talk a lot about the fact it was Donald Trump who set the date on which he negotiated with the Taliban.

There are plans to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for the border situation. Steve Scalise, who’ll be second in charge of the House if Republicans take over said Mayorkas will be given a “reserved parking spot” because “he will be testifying so much about this.”

Last Wednesday on Steve Bannon’s podcast, Marjorie Taylor Greene (who currently doesn’t sit on any committees because she expressed a desire to murder Nancy Pelosi) said Republicans will investigate companies that halted donations to the GOP after January 6, 2021, white nationalist terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol building. She said, “That’s not going to be forgotten by a whole bunch of my Republican colleagues.” This is fascist. Maybe if those corporations start giving money to Republicans again, then they won’t be investigated. MTG exhibits why it was such a good idea to remove her from her committee assignments. But I really do hope MTG’s future committee assignments don’t distract from her trolling and stalking people like Alexandra Ocasio Cortez and school shooting survivors.

Matt Gaetz, also talking to Steve Bannon (goons keep other goons on speed dial), said their number one priority should be to “engage in impeachment inquiries to get the documents and the testimony and the information we need.” Gaetz said “voters will feel betrayed” if they don’t go after President Biden in revenge for the two impeachments of Donald Trump. Gaetz told Bannon that impeaching Biden should take precedence over “policy and bill making” and expressed frustration with Republicans who might actually want to work with Democrats on legislation.

Gaetz said, “We are in a battle and we have to open up every vector of attack on a corrupt administration that is punishing the American people out of these virtue signals to wokeism.” What was missing was context, like what crimes and misdemeanors did President Biden commit to justify impeachment.

Just imagine the millions of taxpayer dollars Republicans are going to waste on these fake investigations.

The only possible good thing to come out of two years of Republicans controlling the House and Senate again is that it’ll remind American voters with short memories why they should never vote for Republicans.

Pro-Rape Republicans

Ohio Republican congressman Jim Jordan tweeted that the story of a ten-year-old leaving Ohio to receive an abortion in Indiana was a lie. After it was confirmed to be true, he took the tweet down, then he lied.

Being that he’s a cheap lying despicable vulgar piece of crap without any shame, it was business as usual for Jordan, who many like to refer to as “Gym” Jordan after it was revealed he ignored sexual assault among the students he coached while he was a wrestling coach at Ohio State University.

Jordan’s first defense for the tweet was to point out the rape was committed by an undocumented immigrant. Then, he blamed the media, stating he was just commenting on one of their headlines which didn’t really make any sense and was another lie. Jordan was retweeting a report from conservative news outlet the Washington Examiner, which was reporting that Ohio’s Attorney General, Dave Yost, had yet to find any evidence that the claim was true, which was cited by President Biden. Jordan retweeted the report with the comment, “Another lie. Anyone surprised?”

Then, Jordan blamed President Biden claiming that doubting him is “usually the right thing to do,” despite the fact the president didn’t lie. Maybe Jordan was thinking of the last president (sic).

Jordan said he wasn’t calling the child a liar though he literally called the story “another lie.” He refused to apologize or express regret. Is anyone surprised?

After reading about this yesterday, I tweeted to Jordan that maybe he “thought the 10-year-old girl was lying about being raped because he thought she was a college wrestler.” A lot of my readers wanted me to make that my next cartoon, but I didn’t want Jordan to be the focus of it. The focus here belongs on all Republicans.

Republicans wanted this story to be false because it reveals the inhumanity of banning abortions. They believe cases of ten-year-old rape victims needing abortions would be extremely rare examples, yet we have one less than three weeks after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. In Ohio, abortions are banned after six weeks, even in cases of rape and incest. This child’s pregnancy from her rapist was at six weeks and three days.

Instead of pursuing the case, Ohio’s Attorney General, Dave Yost, chose to go on TV and deny it existed. He told Fox News, ““We have regular contact with prosecutors and local police and sheriffs—not a whisper anywhere.” This was 11 days AFTER the Indianapolis Star reported that Dr. Caitlin Bernard of Indiana had performed an abortion for a ten-year-old rape victim from Ohio who could not legally terminate the pregnancy in the child’s home state. And three days after Biden spoke passionately about the case at the White House, saying, “She was forced to have to travel out of the state to Indiana to seek to terminate the pregnancy and maybe save her life. Ten years old—ten years old!—raped, six weeks pregnant, already traumatized, was forced to travel to another state.”

Yost told another news outlet, “Every day that goes by, the more likely that this is a fabrication. I’m not saying it could not have happened. What I’m saying to you is there is not a damn scintilla of evidence. And shame on the Indianapolis paper that ran this thing on a single source who has an obvious ax to grind.”

Instead of going on TV and calling the story a lie, Yost could have simply walked the six blocks from his office in the state capital to the headquarters of the Columbus Police and peeked inside their crime reports. If he had done so, he would have found that the Columbus police had received a report of a ten-year-old rape victim in the same time frame reported by the newspaper.

Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Jesse Waters all called it either a “lie,” a “hoax” or “Biden’s abortion story.” After it turned out to be true, they all shifted their focus on the rapist’s immigration status in order to deflect from the fact they were all wrong and to cast blame for the rape on President Biden’s “open borders” policy. Jesse Waters even took credit for the arrest, as though it wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t on TV calling it a lie.

After the rapist was arrested, Tucker still said the facts “didn’t make sense.”

There is no real surprise that there’s no accountability at Fox News, but what about The Wall Street Journal? Well, they are owned by the same company.

The Wall Street Journal cast doubts on the story in an editorial titled, ““An Abortion Story Too Good to Confirm.” Yeah, but it was confirmed. The Journal wrote, “All kinds of fanciful tales travel far on social media these days, but you don’t expect them to get a hearing at the White House.” Actually, we got used to it during the Trump administration. Remember “migrant caravans?”

The Journal also wrote, “There’s no evidence the girl exists,” and dismissed the word of the doctor involved in the case: “You may not be surprised to learn that Dr. Bernard has a long history of abortion activism in the media.” You may not be surprised to learn that conservatives make shitty journalists. In the future, you can say the Journal has a long history of being chock full of bullshit.

After discovering they were wrong, the Journal added an editor’s note at the bottom of the editorial which should have read, “Yeah, every line you just read and got gleeful over…yeah…that was a bunch of bullshit. Our bad.” Realizing an editor’s note wasn’t good enough, or that it’s not what responsible journalists do with such a huge fuck up, they wrote an entirely new editorial. Was it about how much they suck? Nope.

The Journal wrote a new editorial titled, “Correcting the Record on a Rape Case,” and blamed law enforcement for not coming forward with the information. The Journal never apologized or admitted it was at fault for publishing misinformation. They never owned it or apologized to the family of the rape victim.

The thing is, it’s not law enforcement’s job to report. It’s the news outlet’s job to get the information, especially from law enforcement which has a history of suppressing information and lying. You do that by asking questions and probing. The Journal didn’t do that. Instead, it followed the lead of other conservative news outlets in casting doubt and calling a ten-year-old rape victim a liar. While not having any proof of the existence of a ten-year-old rape victim, none of these outlets bothered to find out if what the president of the United States was talking about was true or not. The fact that a ten-year-old girl was raped in Colombus, Ohio in the time period the Indiana doctor reported was very easy to discover. None of these conservative news outlets or Ohio’s idiot MAGAt Attorney General or its Trumper dumbass congressman with the weird chin and shoulders bothered to check before calling it a lie.

Now, Indiana’s Attorney General wants to investigate the doctor who performed the abortion. To him and other Republicans, she’s committed a larger violation to the ten-year-old’s body than the rapist did. Isn’t one dumbass right-wing fucknut state attorney general in the midwest enough?

And you know what else is true? MAGAts on the internet are going to continue to call it a lie. You know that will happen if it’s not going on already. And if they do accept she was raped, they’ll probably claim the immigrant did it with Hunter Biden and there are photos on his laptop proving it. Dammit, I gotta stop writing material for these goons.

What else is true is that these cases are going to continue to happen. This is why Republicans are trying to shift focus now, now just from their lies but from the fact that not allowing incest and rape victims, even those as young as ten years old, to have abortions is a horrifying policy.

Forcing a child to give birth to her rapist’s baby isn’t pro-life. It’s pro-birth and it’s inhumane. A lawyer for National Right to Life said this rape victim should have been forced to have the baby. Most Republicans don’t want to say that out loud, though they actually agree with it. They’d rather scream about Joe Biden, the media, and brown immigrants and hope you don’t notice that a child was forced to give birth to a rapist’s baby because abortions were banned in her state.

All these news outlets, Ohio’s shitty stupid attorney general, and its shitty stupid congressman owe the rape victim and her family an apology. Instead, they’ll probably just gaslight while creating new laws making it illegal to leave the state for an abortion.

If Republicans retake the House, Jim Jordan will most likely be the chairman of the Judiciary Committee.

As I said, we’re going to see a lot of repeats of this story.

Mixed Up Cover-Ups

CjonesRGB12272021

The January 6 Committee, that congressional group investigating the attack on the Capitol committed by white nationalist Trump supporters, has subpoenaed congressman Jim Jordan.

Jim Jordan is that Republican who uses congressional hearings to protect Trump. When he questions witnesses, he doesn’t allow them to answer. He uses his time to make accusations. When he questions witnesses on his side, he leads them with his fake questions. He spends all his time deflecting for Donald Trump. And let’s not forget his lying and deflecting to cover up the Ohio State wrestling sex abuse scandal.

Even now, he’s using a misplaced period to argue the committee is a sham.

Jim Jordan sent a text to Trump’s White House chief-of-staff arguing how vice-president (sic) Mike Pence should throw out electoral votes.

During one of the committee’s hearings, Schiff presented a graphic of a text sent by Jim Jordan, though we didn’t know the sender was Jordan at the time and Schiff didn’t out him. The graphic of the text read, “On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all.”

Republicans complained this text was doctored by Schiff because he added a period and left off the rest of the text. The Federalist, a right-wing goon publication, expressed outrage that Schiff would misrepresent the words of Jim Jordan in such a manner, inadvertently revealing the sender of the text was Jim Jordan. Republicans are stupid. It’s like Jim Jordan was robbing a bank with pantyhose on his head and one of his colleagues called him by his name. “Hey, Jim Jordan…you with the pantyhose on your head, did you get all the 20s?”

I think that image will be in my head all day now.

Schiff, or whoever prepared the graphic, should have added an ellipsis instead of a period at the end of the text. But, so what? The committee admitted there was more to the text, but they only felt the need to show the first paragraph in the graphic because the text was long. The context was not removed. Jim Jordan’s intention was to throw out a democratically-held election and install a dictator. That’s the intention in the first, second, and third paragraphs.

Also, next time you hear them screaming about this “doctoring” of the text, take note they’re not saying what was doctored. Also, try to remember all the times Republicans have taken someone’s words out of context.

The full text reads, “On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all — in accordance with guidance from founding father Alexander Hamilton and judicial precedence. ‘No legislative act,’ wrote Alexander Hamilton in Federalist No. 78, ‘contrary to the Constitution, can be valid.’

“The court in Hubbard v. Lowe reinforced this truth: ‘That an unconstitutional statute is not a law at all is a proposition no longer open to discussion.’ 226 F. 135, 137 (SDNY 1915), appeal dismissed, 242 U.S. 654 (1916). Following this rationale, an unconstitutionally appointed elector, like an unconstitutionally enacted statute, is no elector at all.”

See? That’s a long as text. Plus, the Alexander-Hamilton argument is pure bullshit.

Jim Jordan, the king of deflectors, is screaming about the period being added instead of the dash. They’re claiming this is “evidence tampering.” Others have called for Schiff to be “indicted for conspiracy to commit treason by doctoring evidence.” Mark Levin, a Fox News goon, said California’s Supreme Court should consider revoking Schiff’s law license.

This is a great distraction from the fact Jim Jordan advocated for throwing out electoral votes. Jim Jordan got a Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School, but he never took the bar exam. It’s a good thing too because if we’re disbarring lawmakers for lying…yeah. Jim Jordan has told a few.

Right now, the only political leader who lost his law license I can think of is Rudy Giuliani, you know…because he’s a liar. And, he was telling the same lies as Jim Jordan.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy originally attempted to put Jordan on the January 6 Committee which would have been like putting Kyle Rittenhouse on his own jury. Eh, same results.

Now, everyone’s questioning if a House committee can issue a subpoena for a member of the House. Yes, they can. Jordan has said he has “nothing to hide,” so the committee is asking him, along with fellow House Goon Scott Perry, who’s refusing to cooperate. If he has nothing to hide, Jim Jordan will proudly prance his lying ass before the committee and tell the truth (BWAHAHAHAHA) about everything he knows concerning the insurrection on January 6, 2021.

The committee should subpoena these guys and if they refuse the subpoenas, then they have invalidated every future committee they serve on should they regain the majority. Let’s pretend for a moment their Benghazi hearings didn’t already do that.

If the MAGAt goons continue to defy subpoenas, then they should be referred to the Justice Department for criminal contempt. I’d like to say I wouldn’t lose any sleep if Jim Jordan goes to jail, but that’s not true. I’ll lose a lot of sleep while lying awake giggling my ass off.

The Democrats need to stop playing softball with these treasonous Republicans. Let’s send some people to jail. These guys tried to overthrow the government and install an unelected dictator. They tried to throw out an election. They’re members of Congress. They should be trying to protect the nation, not destroy it.

And while they’re at it, they need to issue subpoenas for more House members like Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Louie Gohmert, and Lauren Boebert, who had given tours to the white nationalist terrorists days before the attack and was texting locations of House members during the attack.

They need to subpoena some senators too, most notably Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz.

They need to subpoena additional goons like Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and everyone who was around Trump on January 6. This includes Don Jr and Ivanka. Line ’em all up.

Don’t let these seditious criminals tell you how to investigate their crimes.

And when these Republicans threaten revenge when they regain the House, if you go after their crimes, ignore them. You can ignore them because right now, they’re telling you it’s OK to ignore subpoenas and the law.

Seriously, trying to overthrow the government should be illegal…even for members of the government.

The Squawking Heads

CjonesRGB12032021

After Representative Paul Gosar tweeted an anime depicting himself murdering fellow representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, he pulled it off Twitter and told Speaker Nancy Pelosi, “Relax. It’s just a cartoon.” After he was censored by the House and lost his committee assignments, he posted it back on Twitter.

Keep in mind, he didn’t just see something on Twitter, find it amusing, and retweet it, which would have been bad enough. Remember when Trump retweeted Nazis? Yeah. No, what Gosar did was have his staff create this anime threatening to murder AOC, his colleague.

So, how many times have you threatened to kill a coworker and kept your job?

Last week, Representative Lauren Boebert was speaking to constituents in the dumb part of Colorado (I love you, Colorado…most of you) when she made a joke about Representative Ilhan Omar, who is Muslim, being a terrorist. She told a story about being in an elevator with Omar at the Capital complex and Omar had a backpack. According to Boebert, she made a joke to Omar about her backpack being a bomb. Her Islamophobic audience all had a hearty laugh. She also said Omar was a member of the “Jihad Squad.”

Omar said this event never happened except in Boebert’s imagination.

In the past, Boebert has falsely described Omar as an advocate “for state-sponsored terrorism” and claimed she’s an “honorary member of Hamas” who is a “terrorist sympathizer.” Omar is about as much of a member of Hamas as Boebert is a Nazi and a full-fledged member of the KKK. OK, bad example.

Boebert later talked to Omar on the phone and the conversation started south and went further south. According to Omar, she hung up on Boebert. Talking to someone like Boebert is like talking to a pigheaded racist child…or one of my conservative critics. Boebert did apologize to the Muslim community but refused to apologize to Omar.

Boebert said she demanded that Omar apologize for her “anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-police rhetoric,” none of which has anything to do with what Boebert said. Lauren Boebert is not an adult and she’s in Congress. Unfortunately, there are a lot of racist babies in Congress.

Paul Gosar knows there have been death threats on Ocasio-Cortez. What he did was endorse these death threats, encourage them, and maybe he even attempted to instigate a murder attempt. The same goes for Boebert. What she did was encourage hate, not just for Omar, but against all Muslims.

Republicans are making up a “war on Christmas” while one of them is pushing a stereotype that all Muslims are terrorists. Fun fact: Most terrorism in the United States is committed by white Christian males and NOT Muslims.

This is what the Republican Party has become. Earlier this year, the House sanctioned Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and pulled her committee assignments after she issued death threats on her Democratic colleagues.

When Republicans defended Gosar, they lied. Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said Gosar never saw the video before his staff posted it and that he apologized. He said, “It was not his intent to show any harm.” The video showed him cutting off a female coworker’s head.

Minority Whip Steve Scalise, who had been shot in an act of political violence, said, “He put out a statement, and he took the video down.”

Representative Tom Cole said Gosar admitted “to a lapse of judgment.”

Representative Mario Diaz said Gosar apologized.

Matt Gaetz said Gosar already addressed his “misguided decision.”

But the thing is, he never apologized and I’m pretty positive he had seen the video before he tweeted it a second time. Gosar told right-wing fucknut news, “I explained to them what was happening. I did not apologize. I said this video didn’t have anything to do with harming anybody.”

Gosar claimed Democrats, liberals, and the media were trying to “cancel” him and said, “If my cartoon can be banned and my free speech is to be banned, then the Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney and indeed most of Hollywood obviously could be banned as well — not to mention Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner.”

Leave it to a Republican to issue a death threat and claim he’s the victim.

Of course Gosar believes it’s his free speech to threaten to murder someone. They also believe it’s free speech when parents call school board members at 3:00 AM and say, “I know where you live, motherfucker.”

Republicans are refusing to condemn violence and bigotry because they’re afraid it’ll upset their base. This is the new Republican Party where the members are in a race to be the vilest amongst them. The GOP is less of a party and more of a cult focused on hate, lies, violence, and gaslighting.

Now, I’m waiting to see who has a problem with this cartoon? Will it be Republicans, Trumpsters, social media?

Relax. It’s just a cartoon.

Flinging With Kevin

Cjones07252021

Kevin McCarthy says he wants to find all the facts of the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol but he can’t trust a partisan committee of Democrats, so he’s going to create a partisan committee of Republicans.

The first time the Democrats tried to create a committee to investigate what happened on January 6, they consulted with Republicans before they held a vote. Kevin McCarthy demanded equal representation on the committee with full subpoena power. He got that. But since he never wanted an investigation in the first place, his party still voted against the committee. Do you know what they called a committee with an even number of Democrats and Republicans with both having full subpoena power? They called it “partisan.”

The vote passed the House for that commission, but Republicans in the Senate killed it, thanks to the filibuster bullshit Joe Manchin won’t get rid of. Since Democrats control the House, Nancy Pelosi decided to take matters into her own hands and create a House Commission…and she still invited Republicans. In fact, she even gave one of the Democratic seats to a Republican.

But this time, since Republicans rejected the committee that gave them everything they demanded, Pelosi decided this one would have eight Democratic appointments and five from Republicans. So while Kevin is screaming the committee is partisan, it’s really not. But, in order to avoid Republican bullshit as much as she can, she gave herself the power to veto any of Kevin McCarthy’s picks. That was a smart move on her part.

At first, Kevin said he wouldn’t appoint anyone to the committee and warned that if any Republicans joined, then he would strip them of all committee assignments. Then, he changed his mind and set out to select five goons, er, Republicans to sit on the fact-finding committee. Kevin appointed Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong, and Troy Nehls, with only Nehls of the three not voting to certify the election.

But, he also appointed Jim Banks and Donald Trump’s favorite poo-flinging monkey, Jim Jordan. McCarthy’s intention was to seat members who would deflect and distract during testimonies. Basically, fling poo.

Surprise! Nancy Pelosi rejected Banks and Jordan. McCarthy responded by pulling all five of his members from the committee and said, “Unless Speaker Pelosi reverses course and seats all five Republican nominees, Republicans will not be party to their sham process and will instead pursue our own investigation of the facts.”

First off, Kevin…what are you threatening with? What do you have?

Second, you don’t put fuckers like Banks and Jordan on a committee when you’re trying to find facts. Nancy was right to pull those two members.

Before his selection, Jim Banks said the committee to investigate what happened on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol shouldn’t have anything to do with investigating what happened on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol. Later, he said the committee should investigate what President Biden had to do with the attack and why he didn’t stop it. Joe Biden was NOT President when the attacked happened. That’s some serious gaslighting.

Jim Jordan, like Banks, voted against certifying the election. During a speech on January 6, Jim Jordan said he would never be convinced Joe Biden won the election because Trump had a lot of people at his rallies and Biden rarely left his house to campaign. So sure, let’s put the guy on the committee who would rather go with his gut than election results.

Jim Jordan also coordinated with Donald Trump in trying to stop certifying the election and with spreading the Big Lie that he won. Trump gave Jim Jordan a fucking medal for his gaslighting and lying about the election.

You cannot put people on a fact-finding committee who believe they are entitled to their own facts. You also shouldn’t put people on a committee who may be witnesses. Hell, you shouldn’t let a witness select members of the committee.

Jim Jordan should be subpoenaed to testify. He says he talks to Donald Trump weekly. Kevin McCarthy was on the phone with Trump during the insurrection, so he’s a witness too.

The one Republican on the committee, Liz Cheney, slapped Jim Jordan’s hand on January 6 during the insurrection and told him, “You fucking did this.”

Republicans cry that this commission is only out to get Donald Trump. That’s like whining the O.J. trial was only out to get O.J.

McCarthy whined, “This represents an egregious abuse of power and will irreparably damage this institution,” he said in his statement. “Denying the voices of members who have served in the military and law enforcement, as well as leaders of standing committees, has made it undeniable that this panel has lost all legitimacy and credibility and shows the Speaker is more interested in playing politics than seeking the truth.” But you don’t seek the truth with people like Jim Banks and Jim Jordan.

The attack on the Capitol was conducted by Trump supporters. This is a fact. They were white nationalists. That is another fact. They made a bee line from a Trump rally to the Capitol after Trump told them to. We have it on tape. They were not welcomed into the Capitol by the police with hugs and kisses as Donald Trump claims. They broke through police lines, beat cops with flag poles, pipes, batons and other weapons, while spraying them with bear spray. They climbed in through broken windows, stomped on police, shit and pissed in the hallways, and even bit one cop’s fingers off. Over 300 Proud Boys were involved, wearing bullet proof vests, military helmets, and coordinating through walkie-talkies. Some were carrying nooses while screaming to hang Mike Pence. Some had Confederate and Neo-Nazi flags. And of course, there were Trump and MAGA flags. And Republicans don’t want to get to the bottom of any of this.

McCarthy says the committee needs to find out why Pelosi failed in protecting the Capitol, yet during the insurrection, he was on a phone pleading with Donald Trump to send the National Guard…which Trump ignored for hours. He doesn’t want to investigate that?

The hearings start on July 27 and the first four witnesses are Capitol Police officers who were injured during the attack. Republicans don’t want to hear their testimony. Other witnesses should be Jim Jordan, Kevin McCarthy, Ivanka Trump and chief-of-staff Mark Meadows, who kept sending Ivanka to plead with her father to call the rioters off.

Others who witnessed Trump in the White House that day include Keith Kellogg, Eric Herschmann, Dan Scavino, Kayleigh McEnany, Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, and Kimberly Guilfoyle. They should all receive subpoenas to testify. So should Mike Pence, who Trump orderd to come to the White House so he could order him to overturn the election. John Eastman and Mo Brooks, who both spoke at the rally on January 6, should also be made to testify.

During the attack, McCarthy was on the phone with Trump. Trump told him the attackers were Antifa. After McCarthy assured him they were indeed Trump supporters, Trump said, “Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are.”

McCarthy knows the truth but he doesn’t want it revealed. He’s like a victim of spousal abuse telling the cops nothing happened and he just clumsily walked into the wall again. Oddly enough, his refusal to participate may be the best thing he can do for our country.

Now, without McCarthy’s poo-flinging monkeys on board, this committee can get to the bottom of the attack on the Capitol by Trump’s MAGA terrorists.

Thank you, Nancy Pelosi, for rejecting the poo-flinging monkeys.

Shut Your Pie Hole

Cjones04242021

Congressman Jim Jordan does not get along with black women.

To be fair to Jordan, he is an asshole. Assholes have trouble getting along with a lot of people. Still being fair, there are people who do like Jim Jordan…of course, those same people also like guys like Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Matt Gaetz, and white nationalist terrorists who stomp on police officers. And that’s what got Jordan into the sticky situation he found himself in on Tuesday.

On the same day the jury delivered guilty, guilty, guilty verdicts in the Derek Chauvin trial, Jim Jordan made a huge racist asshole out of himself. To be fair, he’s a racist asshole every day so it wasn’t that unique to happen the same day as a verdict. My verdict is, Jim Jordan is a racist asshole.

House Democrats have drafted a Hate Crimes Act calling for an expedited Justice Department review of pandemic-era hate crimes against Asian Americans, the establishment of an online reporting mechanism for state and local law enforcement agencies, and data collection and public reporting on hate crime. The one thing this bill does NOT do is defund the police.

Republicans proposed an amendment to the bill that would prevent defunding or abolishing police. It’s not relevant. During a committee hearing on the bill, Chairman Jerry Nadler and Democrat Val Demings both called the amendment “irrelevant.” Jim Jordan started screaming it was as “relevant as it gets” because last week, a member of “the Squad” said police should be abolished. One person who has NOT called for defunding the police is President Joe Biden who has come out strongly against it. So, defunding the police is NOT happening. The amendment is not relevant. It’s useless and just for show.

Demings said, “I served as a law enforcement officer for 27 years. It is a tough job, and good police officers deserve your support. It’s interesting to see my colleagues on the other side of the aisle support the police when it is politically convenient to do so.”

Deming told Jordan, “You and your colleagues should be ashamed of yourselves.” I’m pretty sure she already knows Jim Jordan, being a Trump sycophant, has no shame.

She also told the Republicans, “This is emotionally charging for me because I was a law enforcement officer. I have watched them live and die and you know nothing about that. To utilize them as political pawns pisses me off.”

As Jordan tried to interrupt, because he does that a lot with black women, Demings asked, “Did I strike a nerve?”

There should be a nerve there because Republicans only use police when it’s politically convenient. When it comes to choosing between Trump’s white nationalist MAGAt terrorists or cops, Republicans like Jim Jordan choose the terrorists. We literally have supporters of terrorism in Congress.

It’s kinda like being supportive of our troops until it’s not politically convenient. Republicans were outraged when Colin Kaepernick kneeled during the national anthem and claimed it was disrespectful to our troops, but are still silent over reports Vladimir Putin placed bounties on our troops…and silent over Trump trying to cover it up.

Last week, Jim Jordan went over his allotted time during another House hearing and continued to berate Dr. Anthony Fauci for being a scientist. Jordan was screaming so hard, he couldn’t keep his face mask on. Then, Democrat Maxine Waters told Jordan to “shut your mouth.” Jim Jordan is on a roll when it comes to pissing off black women. They should make him a pie.

Jim Jordan is only useful to Republicans as a poo-flinging monkey. During committee hearings, he berates witnesses in the name of Trump, latches onto conspiracy theories, and repeats GOP talking points. Other Republicans often give him their allotted time so he can keep harassing witnesses. Jordan rarely asks any actual questions and spends most of his, and others’, time screaming for his white-privilege outrage.

Outside of screaming headlines for Fox News, OANN, Newsmax, and the Daily Stormer, Jordan is useless. The Center for Elective Law Making, a joint project between Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia, ranked Jordan as the 202 most effective Republican in the House at passing legislation. There are 205 Republicans in the House. That would be like me being told as a cartoonist, I’m only better than Gary McCoy and that Branco fucker. That would hurt.

As my Uncle Rock would probably say if he was still alive, Jim Jordan is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

If you want someone to browbeat scientists, public servants, patriots, and black women, then Jim Jordan is your dude. If you need someone to look the other way while you sexually assault college wrestlers in the showers, Jim Jordan is your man. If you need someone who will actually do the job one typically expects of a congressman, like drafting, sponsoring, and passing legislation to make this country better, Jim Jordan is NOT the guy for that job. A poo-flinging monkey would probably rank higher than 202. A poo-flinging monkey would probably have the class and dignity to at least wear a jacket during committee hearings.

Jim Jordan is such a Trump sycophant, he’s picked up the Trump trait of feuding with black women…and being afraid of them. The question for Jim Jordan is: Are you merely a sexist asshole or are you a racist sexist asshole?

Even a poo-flinging monkey can see that Jim Jordan is a racist sexist asshole. Jim, put on a jacket and shut your pie hole.
